Aircraft Noise The Metropolitan Airport Commission Noise Office has informed us about a noisy project occurring in the skies above us. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is undergoing an aerial mapping project inside the I -494—I-694 loop which requires low-level aircraft flights in night- time hours. Do not be alarmed if you see low-flying aircraft flying a grid pattern overhead. Weather permitting the DNR hopes to have this work done in the next couple of weeks.
