04/19/24, 1200 HOURS, 16XX DODD ROAD THEFT
Officer took a theft report from the 1600 block of Dodd Road. Reporting party stated that a sign was taken from
the location. No suspects known. Case inactive.
04/19/24, 1032 HOURS, 494W TRAFFIC STOP
Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was emanating a strong smell of suspected marijuana. The driver
admitted to smoking marijuana. A drug recognition expert evaluated the driver and confirmed the likely
intoxication of marijuana. The driver was cited and released. Forward to city attorney.
04/21/24, 0324 HOURS, LEXINGTON AVE S DWI
Officer was on routine patrol of Highway 62 near Interstate 35E. Officer observed a vehicle drift nearly off the road.
Officer observed other driving conduct and stopped the vehicle at Lexington Avenue and Victoria Curve. Driver
showed signs of impairment and was put through roadside SFST's. The driver was arrested for underage DWI and
was booked and released at the Dakota County Jail. Case Status: Adult arrest / book and release.
04/22/24, 1104 HOURS, 7XX LINDEN ST DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Officer requested to call a woman who lives on the 700 block of Linden Street reference the trim continually being
damaged on her vehicle while it's parked in the underground garage. It seems someone is trying to break into it.
Camera footage has been requested from management.
04/22/24, 1438 HOURS, 19XX VICTORIA ROAD FRAUD
Officer received information from a man who lived on the 1900 block of Victoria Road about a scam that had been
perpetrated against him. He had suffered financial loss. There is minimal suspect information. Forward to
investigations for follow-up.
04/22/24, 2224 HOURS, HWY 13 TRAFFIC STOP
Officer on routine patrol at Dodd Road and Highway 62. Officer observed several vehicle infractions and stopped
the vehicle at Highway 13 and Highway 62. The driver who was under the age of 21 admitted to possessing
marijuana. A vehicle search was completed and additional marijuana and paraphernalia was located and taken as
evidence. The driver was cited. CASE STATUS: Citation.

04/22/24, 1847 HOURS, 10XX HWY 62 FRAUD
Officers received a fraud report at the 1000 Block of Highway 62. Officers called the victim who reported a bank
card was lost at the business earlier in the day. The victim returned to the business and did not find their bank
card. The victim checked their financial account and found a fraudulent charge. Case Status: Active
04/24/24, 0829 HOURS, 494 ANIMAL/AOA
Responded to I-494 at Dodd Road to assist State Patrol with impounding two dogs after an arrest. Owner advised
of the location of their dogs.
04/24/24, 1135 HOURS, 21XX LEXINGTON AVE THEFT
Reporting party called to report a theft of a vase. The incident took place some time over the winter. The location
was at a cemetery in the 2100 block of Lexington Ave. There are no known suspects. case Status: Inactive
04/24/24, 1533 HOURS, 5XX ABBEY WAY FRAUD
Officer received a report of an unknown party who stole an adult females mail and applied for a credit card in their
name. The female cancelled the account and reported it to the bank. The suspects information is unknown. This
report is for information only.
04/24/24, 1700 HOURS, 10XX SIBLEY MEM HWY CRISIS/MENTAL HEALTH
Officers were dispatched to a report of assault on the 1000 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Officers spoke with
the reporting party and gathered information. Officer wrote report.
04/24/24, 1831 HOURS, 24XX VISITATION DR THREATS/STALKING
Officer received a report of a video where a student was threatening a teacher at a school in Mendota Heights.
After investigating, the threat was not credible.
