04/06/24, 2043 HOURS, PILOT KNOB RD/YANKEE DOODLE RD PURSUIT
Officer was working a traffic enforcement detail. Officer observed a vehicle which showed a KOPS alert for Eagan
PD. Officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop. Vehicle fled from officers. Officers terminated pursuit due to
dangerous conditions. Additional KOPS alert put out for fleeing vehicle.
04/07/24, 0042 HOURS, HWY 62/DELAWARE AVE TRAFFIC STOP
Officer was on patrol of Highway 62 near Dodd Road. Officer saw a vehicle with expired tabs, equipment violations,
and driving violations and stopped the vehicle at Highway 62 near Delaware Avenue. The driver was cited for
displaying plates from another vehicle. Two plates from the vehicle were taken for safe keeping for the owner to
pick up.
04/07/24, 0100 HOURS, 8XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY BURGLARY
Officers were alerted to a building alarm on the 800 block of Highway 13. Officers arrived on scene and determined
that there were occupants inside of the building and that it was a burglary in progress. Officers requested mutual
aid and began searching the building. Officers did not locate the suspects and determined that the suspects had
fled prior to a perimeter being set up. Officers collected evidence and camera footage from inside of the building
and will be investigating the incident further.
04/07/24, 1748 HOURS, 2XXX VICTORIA RD S MENTAL HEALTH
Officer was dispatched to the 2000 block of Victoria Road for a report of missing juveniles. Dispatch advised that
two juveniles returned with one still running away. Shortly after, officers located the juvenile outside of the police
department. The juvenile was ultimately transported to the hospital.
04/08/24, 0255 HOURS, 8XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE
Officer observed a vehicle enter private property on the 800 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Officer initiated a
traffic stop and arrested the driver for outstanding warrant. Case sent to county attorney for Fugitive From Justice
charge.

04/08/24, 1354 HOURS, 15XX VANDALL ST THEFT
Officer called to a house on the 1500 block of Vandall Street where a "backing the blue line" flag had been stolen
from the front of the house. The thief was caught on camera, but they were completely covered with clothing and
a helmet. There is no suspect information.
04/08/24, 2104 HOURS, 2XXX VICTORIA RD S DISTURBING THE PEACE
Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Victoria Rd for a report of a disturbance. Officers gathered
information and placed a juvenile on a hold. She was transported by medics to the hospital.
04/10/24, 0806 HOURS, 24XX LEXINGTON AVE STOP ARM VIOLATION
Officer responded to the 2400 block of Lexington Avenue on a report of a school bus stop arm violation with
students outside the bus and actively loading at the time of incident. Driver identified and case forwarded to City
Attorney for charging.
04/10/24, 1650 HOURS, MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD/LAKE RD TRAFFIC STOP
Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Mendota Heights Road and Lake Drive. The driver was cited
for fail to stop at a stop sign and a passenger was cited for possessing an open bottle.
04/10/24, 2317 HOURS, 35E/HWY 13 WARRANT
Officer was on routine patrol in the area of Interstate 35e and Highway 13. Officer stopped a vehicle for speed.
Officer arrested the adult female driver for an outstanding warrant. Adult female driver was also cited for speed
and driving with a revoked license. Adult female driver was transported to Dakota County Jail.
04/10/24, 2320 HOURS, 35E/HWY 13 WARRANT
Officer was on routine patrol and observed a vehicle traveling without lights on Highway 13/I-35E. Officer stopped
the vehicle and identified the adult male driver. The adult male driver was found to have warrants. The driver was
arrested and transported to jail.

04/10/24, 2344 HOURS, 21XX LEXINGTON AVE DWI
Officer was on routine patrol near the 2100 block of Lexington Avenue. Officer observed a vehicle driving at a
closed business and the officer stopped the vehicle. The driver admitted to drinking alcohol and had several signs
of intoxication. Driver was put through roadside SFST's and was arrested for 3rd Degree DWI. Driver was booked in
the Dakota County Jail and held.
04/11/24, 1557 HOURS, STRYKER AVE/BERNARD ST DWI
Officer conducted a traffic detail traffic stop in a neighboring jurisdiction and found the driver to be under the
influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and taken to Dakota County Jail.
04/11/24, 1848 HOURS, DELAWARE AVE/WENTWORTH AVE PD ACCIDENT
Vehicle was traveling northbound on Delaware Avenue from Wentworth Avenue and was traveling under the 35
MPH speed limit. Vehicle crossed over the center line and went off the roadway to the left and crashed into a tree.
Vehicle was occupied by the driver and a rear seat passenger. Both occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
Airbags were deployed. There were no injuries. The vehicle was disabled and towed. There was severe damage to
the front of the vehicle.
April 5th—April 11th, 2024
