03 22 24 WEEKLY CRIME REPORT 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report 03/14/24, 2338 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY DWI Officer stopped vehicle in the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy. Upon making contact with the driver Officer could smell an odor of alcohol on driver. Driver was ultimately released to emergency medical services. Case forwarded for charges. 03/15/24, 1436 HOURS, 2ND AVE/VANDALL ST STOP ARM VIOLATION Officer received a driving complaint from the area of 2nd Ave and Vandall. Reporting party witnessed a vehicle drive around a school bus as it was dropping children off. After investigation, it was determined that the violation did occur. The driver received a citation for the offense. 03/15/24, 1938 HOURS, 7XX N PLAZA DR ASSAULT Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of North Plaza Drive for a past action report of an assault. Officer arrived on scene and spoke with the victim. Under investigation. 03/16/24, 0424 HOURS, 3XX E ST BURGLARY Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of E Street in Mendota for a report of someone kicking in a window screen. Upon arrival officers determined the call was a burglary involving forced entry. The suspect is known due to an earlier call at the same residence. Officers searched the area but were unable to find the suspect. A KOPS alert was issued for the suspect. A cell phone of the suspect was left behind and placed into evidence. They suspect came in to retrieve the cell phone and was arrested at that time for burglary charges. 03/16/24, 1600 HOURS, 2XXX VICTORIA RD S FIGHT Officers received a report of juveniles fighting on the 2300 block of Victoria Road. Upon officers arrival, all parties were separated. Upon speaking with involved parties and witnesses, the incident sounded like a mutual conflict. 03/17/24, 0243 HOURS, HYW 13/RIVERSIDE LN DRUNKENESS Officers responded to the area of Highway 13 and Interstate 35E for a report of a drunk person walking on the highway. The original call was aired by Minnesota State Patrol Dispatch. Officers located the drunken male at the intersection of Highway 13 and Riverside Lane. Officers determined the male was too drunk to take care of himself and placed him on a transport hold. The male was transported to a local hospital. March 15th—March 21st, 2024 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report 03/17/24, 1626 HOURS, 18XX DELAWARE AVE ASSAULT Officers received a report of a disturbance on the 1800 block of Delaware Avenue. Upon arrival, officers learned people got upset over a soccer game and started to hit each other. Parties were separated and advised charges may come their way pending viewing video of the incident. 03/18/24, 0512 HOURS, GLENHILL RD/CULLIGAN LN RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE Officer located an unoccupied stolen vehicle on the 1900 block of Glenhill Rd. Officer notified the reporting agency, vehicle was towed. 03/18/24, 1256 HOURS, 7XX WESLEY LN THEFT Officers were dispatched to a theft report on the 700 block of Wesley Lane. Officers made contact with the adult male victim who stated he received a package from Fedex and the contents were missing from the package. There is no suspect information. 03/18/24, 2111 HOURS, 17XX VICKI LN MEDICAL Officers were dispatched to a priority medical for an adult female who was not conscious but breathing on the 1700 block of Vicki Lane. Officers arrived on scene and located the patient. The patient was placed on a transport hold and transported by ambulance to a local hospital. 03/20/24, 0819 HOURS, 7XX SPRING CREEK CI DOMESTIC Officer responded to a report of a domestic assault on Spring Creek Circle. A transport hold was provided. Case pending assault charges. 03/20/24, 1559 HOURS, HWY 13/ANNAPOLIS ST TRAFFIC STOP On 3/20/2024, I received information regarding a chronic reckless driver. Officer stopped the vehicle and issued a warning for the behavior. 03/20/24, 2115 HOURS, 1XXX MAYFIELD HEIGHTS LN MISSING PERSON Officer took a runaway juvenile report in the 1000 block of Mayfield Heights Lane. Officer gathered information. Missing person report completed. March 15th—March 21st, 2024 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report 03/21/24, 1339 HOURS, 12XX NORTHLAND DR THREATS Officer responded to the 1200 block of Northland Drive on a report of threats received by phone from a person in Missouri. Reporting person only wanted the information documented for future reference. Crime/violence prevention provided as well as links to the FBI to report the information. 03/21/24, 1636 HOURS, 7XX N PLAZA DR FRAUD Officers were dispatched to a fraud report at the 700 block of N Plaza Dr. Officer made contact with the adult male victim who advised that he had items stolen in Saint Paul and then his credits cards were fraudulently used in Mendota Heights.
