12/22/23, 0936 HOURS, DODD RD/WENTWORTH AVE IMPOUND
Officers located an abandoned stalled vehicle partially blocking northbound Dodd Rd No of Wentworth Ave.
Officers attempted to contact the owner and towed the vehicle because it was a traffic hazard. The vehicle was
entered as impounded.
12/22/23, 1043 HOURS, 8XX CHERI LN THEFT
Officer contacted by a resident living on the 800 block of Cheri Lane reference stolen license plates. The
information was collected, and the license plates were listed as stolen.
12/22/23, 1225 HOURS, 1XXX LONDON RD MAIL THEFT
Officer was dispatched to a possible past action mail theft in the 1000 block of London Rd. The victim was
expecting a check, received notification that it was delivered but never received it. The check had not been cashed
as of yet. Under investigation.
12/22/23, 1551 HOURS, 7XX N PLAZA DR THEFT
Officers were dispatched to a report of theft in progress in the 700 block of North Plaza Drive. Two females stole
gift boxes of perfume and then fled the scene. The case is active pending the identification of the suspects.
12/22/23, 2159 HOURS, 2XXX DODD RD FALSE NAME
Officers responded to the 2000 block of Dodd Road for a report of a suspicious person bothering customers at a
local business. Officers located a person matching the description aired by dispatch. Officers talked to the person
and were given a false name. Suspect was identified by IBIS and found to have a warrant out of Hennepin County.
Suspect was arrested and transported to Dakota County Jail.
12/23/23, 0243 HOURS, SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY/2ND ST MOTORIST ASSIST
Officers were on routine patrol and found a vehicle parked on the south side of Sibley Memorial Highway near
Second Street. Officers observed the vehicle running with one adult male sleeping in the back seat. Officers
performed SFSTs on the male. Male was dropped off at a nearby relative's house.

12/23/23, 1246 HOURS, 6XX LAURA CT DOG BITE
Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Laura Ct. for a report of a past action dog bite. Officer arrived on scene
and gathered information. Potentially dangerous dog bite form completed.
12/23/23, 2133 HOURS, 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
Officer received a report of a motor vehicle theft from the 1300 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Victim parked
his vehicle in the parking lot and when he returned to it, it was missing. Officer entered the vehicle into NCIC. The
next day the vehicle was found in the same parking lot, untouched. It is likely the owner forgot where they parked.
12/24/23, 1626 HOURS, 7XX S PLAZA DR PUBLIC ASSIST
Officer made contact with an elderly male on the 700 block of South Plaza. The male was unable to remember
where he lived and made comments about not being able to receive medical care. The male was driven to his
home. Case forwarded to Adult Social Services.
12/26/23, 1625 HOURS, 23XX COPPERFIELD DR CHECK WELFARE
Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Copperfield Drive for a welfare check. Officers advised another
agency and the reporting party of the findings after conducting an investigation.
12/27/23, 1052 HOURS, 1XXX DAKOTA DR TRESPASS
Officer responded to the 1000 block of Dakota Drive on a report of trespassing. Owner informed officer that a
trespass notification was going to be issued to an employee. Officer advised owner to send a copy of the trespass
when it is complete.
12/27/23, 1412 HOURS, 1XXX SUMMIT LN MENTAL HEALTH
Officer responded to Summit Lane on a person in crisis. Officer assisted person with a voluntary transport for a
mental health evaluation.
12/28/23, 0207 HOURS, 18XX SUMMIT LN SUSPICIOUS PERSON
Officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary in process. Officers determined a burglary did not take place yet
unknown person was observed on camera going inside of the reporting party ’s vehicle and opened the garage
door using the opener. The suspect fled. Case inactive at this time.

12/28/23, 1200 HOURS, 1XXX WAGON WHEEL TR DRUG ACTIVITY
Officer was dispatched to an address in the 1000 block of Wagon Wheel Trail. A staff member witnessed drug
activity. Staff searched the resident and a plastic baggie containing white powder was found. Item placed in
evidence. Case forwarded for charging.
12/28/23, 1338 HOURS, 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY PURSUIT
Officer was advised of a pursuit that had been terminated in Eagan. Suspect was N/B Hwy 13. Officer observed
vehicle N/B Hwy 13 in Mendota. Driver made an illegal lane change. Officer activated lights and siren. Driver fled
S/B Hwy 13 and then W/B Hwy 55. Pursuit terminated.
12/28/23, 1527 HOURS, 24XX BRIDGEVIEW CT FRAUD
Officers responded to a complaint of check forgery in the 2000 block of Bridgeview Court. The victim showed a loss
of $2,000. Under investigation.
12/28/23, 1555 HOURS, 24XX LOCKWOOD DR AOA
Officers responded to assist another agency in the 2400 block of Lockwood Drive. The area was searched and the
requesting agency was advised of our findings.
