Weekly Crime Report
11/03/23, 0709 HOURS, HYW 62/CHARLTON RD THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE
Officer took a theft of motor vehicle in progress in the 900 Block of Sibley Memorial Hwy. Officer gathered
information and collected evidence but were not able to locate the suspect. Officers later located the suspect in
the 1700 Block of Marie Ave W. Suspect was taken into custody and later transported to the hospital.
11/03/23, 1826 HOURS, 1778 TRAIL RD RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE
Officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 1700 block of Trail Road. Officers determined
that the vehicle was stolen and it was towed for processing.
11/03/23, 2211 HOURS, HWY 13/2ND ST PD ACCIDENT
Officer was dispatched to a rollover accident at Highway 13/2nd Street. Dispatch indicated that a vehicle had rolled
over off the road into the ditch to veer for a deer and that there were no injuries. I arrived and found the vehicle in
the ditch between 2nd St and Highway 13. The vehicle sustained significant damage and was sitting upright on it's
wheels.
11/04/23, 2214 HOURS, HWY 62/LEXINGTON AVE DWI
Officers dispatched to a road and driving complaint in the area of Highway 62 and Lexington Ave. Dispatch advised
that the suspect vehicle was weaving all over the road, went into the ditch and then kept driving. Officers made
contact with suspect vehicle and arrested the adult male driver for DWI. Adult male driver was taken to the Dakota
County Jail.
11/05/23, 0332 HOURS, HWY 62/DELAWARE AVE DRUGS
Officers conducted a traffic stop on vehicle at 50th/Mendota. Officers located illegal substances in plain view inside
of vehicle. Officers arrested one adult male and found an illegally carried handgun in the male's possession.
Officers searched the male and the vehicle and found more illegal substances. Officers transported the male to jail
and towed the vehicle.
11/06/23, 0348 HOURS, 35E/WAGON WHEEL TR WARRANT
Officer conducted a traffic stop on vehicle for a broken headlight on Highway 13 at Lilydale Rd. Adult male driver
arrested for outstanding warrant.

11/06/23, 0827 HOURS, 2XXX DODD RD THEFT
Officer was requested to call a business located near the 2000 block of Dodd Road reference a theft that had taken
place over the weekend. There was good video evidence obtained from the business. A suspect was identified.
Cleared with a citation.
11/06/23, 1536 HOURS, 494/PILOT KNOB RD PI ACCIDENT
Officers responded to a crash at Pilot Knob & 494 WB entrance ramp. Both vehicles were disabled and towed away
from the scene. One driver was mailed a citation.
11/06/23, 1646 HOURS, HWY 62/HWY 13 DWI
Officers made a traffic stop on a vehicle at Hwy 62 and Hwy 13 for a revoked license. Driver of the vehicle wasn't
the registered owner but open containers of alcohol were found in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for DWI.
11/06/23, 1751 HOURS, 7XX N PLAZA DR DISTURBANCE
Officer responded to a local business for a dispute. One party had left prior to the officer's arrival. Investigation
determined no crime occurred. Informational report.
11/08/23, 1004 HOURS, 7XX MARKET ST FRAUD
Officer took a report of a past action check fraud report in the 700 block of Market Street. Officer gathered
information. Pending camera footage.
11/08/23, 1003 HOURS, 11XX ORCHARD CI OFP VIOLATION
Officer responded to the 1100 block of Orchard Circle on a report of restraining Order violation. An alert was
placed metro wide to attempt to locate the suspect. A citation was issued for the violation.
11/08/23, 1848 HOURS, 18XX DELWARE AVE THEFT
Officers took a report of a cellphone theft from a locker. The theft occurred during an after school event. Under
investigation.
11/08/23, 2016 HOURS, 5XX ABBEY WAY THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE
Officers responded to the 500 block of Abbey Way for a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle had already fled the
area prior to officer's arrival. Officers gathered information and listed the vehicle as stolen in NCIC. No suspects at
this time.

11/08/23, 2149 HOURS, 2XXX VICTORIA RD S MENTAL HEALTH
Officers were dispatched to location for four juveniles who ran away. Officers learned one of the juveniles threated
self harm. A KOPS alert was posted for that juvenile. Dakota County Crisis was notified. Guardians were notified.
All juveniles were later recovered and the KOPS alert was cancelled.
11/09/23, 0033 HOURS, 2XXX VICTORIA RD S ASSAULT
Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Victoria Road for a report of a past action assault. Officers spoke
with the victim about a assault that occurred with a large group. Under investigation.
11/09/23, 1704 HOURS, 2XXX VICTORIA RD S MENTAL HEALTH
Officers were dispatched to location for a juvenile who eloped. Officers located the juvenile and spoke with the
guardian who requested they be put on a hold for a medical evaluation. DC Crisis notified.
11/09/23, 2034 HOURS, 35E/HWY 13 TAX EVASION
Officer was on routine patrol on Highway 13 when officer ran a plate with tabs expired over a year ago. Vehicle
was stopped and the driver was advised they would be formally charged for tax evasion. Vehicle was towed. Driver
was provided a courtesy transport home. Sent for charging.
11/09/23, 2125 HOURS, 1XXX DODD RD BURGLARY
Officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of Dodd Road for a past action burglary. Officer spoke with the victim
who identified several items were taken from their house. Under investigation.
11/10/23, 1409 HOURS, 23XX LEXINGTON AVE IDENTITY THEFT
Officer was called by woman living near the 2300 block of Lexington Avenue reference her identity being used for
college enrollment for an unknown person. There was financial loss and the victim's banking system was in the
process of helping her to recover her losses. No suspect information at this time. Under investigation.
11/10/23, 2025 HOURS, 8XX MARIE AVE DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Officers responded to Valley Park for a complaint of criminal damage that had just occurred. Officers responded to
the area and were unable to locate the suspects. Case status is inactive due to lack of suspects.

11/13/23, 1022 HOURS, 19XX OAK ST IDENTITY THEFT
Officer requested to call a man living on the 1900 block of Oak Street who was reporting that his identity had been
stolen and a credit card had been opened in his name. I collected all the available information and completed a
report. Case inactive.
11/13/23, 1455 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR MENTAL HEALTH
Officers responded to a 911 hangup on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Upon arrival it was determined to be a
person in crisis. Patient was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
11/13/23, 1907 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR MENTAL HEALTH
Officers responded to the 1300 block of Northland Drive for a crisis mental health call involving a knife. After
talking to the reporting party, it was decided to place the patient on a transport hold. The patient was transported
to a local hospital.
11/13/23, 2257 HOURS, HWY 62/DODD RD PURSUIT
Officer observed a silver passenger vehicle travelling eastbound on Highway 62 at Dodd Rd at a high rate of speed.
Officer attempted a traffic stop but the driver fled. Officer pursued vehicle where it stopped at Robert Trail in Inver
Grove Heights. Adult male driver was arrested and taken to Dakota County Jail.
11/14/23, 0909 HOURS, MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD/SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY DRUGS
Officers called to a parking lot located near the intersection of Mendota Heights Road and Sibley Memorial Hwy for
a report of a male passed out in his vehicle. Officers ran the male through field sobriety testing and found him to
be under the influence of intoxicants. The male was found to be in possession of narcotics. The male was arrested.
11/14/23, 1143 HOURS, 17XX LEXINGTON AVE BURGLARY
Officer responded to the 1700 block of Lexington Avenue on a report of a burglary that happened in the past 30
days. Information gathered and report was written. No suspects or evidence.
11/14/23, 1623 HOURS, 7XX N PLAZA DR THEFT
Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of North Plaza Drive for a theft in progress from a convenience store.
Three suspects stole perfume and drove away from the scene. Surveillance cameras caught the theft and a license
plate was provided by a witness. Under investigation.

11/15/23, 1627 HOURS, 1XXX WINSTON CT BURGLARY
Officer responded to the 1000 Block of Winston Court for a burglary in progress. Officers located the suspect and
placed them under arrest for 2nd degree burglary and domestic assault.
11/16/23, 0202 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY AOA
While on patrol, officer was flagged down by a pedestrian on the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy. Officer spoke
with the party and learned that they had been kidnapped and assaulted in another jurisdiction. Officer passed on
relevant information to the other agency and party was transported to the hospital.
