Weekly Crime Report
10/27/23, 0225 HOURS, HYW 62/CHARLTON RD DWI
Officer was on routine patrol near Delaware and Wentworth Avenue. Officer observed a vehicle cross over the lane
lines on Delaware and Highway 62. Officer initiated a traffic stop at Hwy 62 and Charlton Rd. Vehicle also had
expired tabs. Driver was put through roadside SFST's and failed. Driver was arrested on 3rd Degree DWI and
transported to the Dakota County Jail and held.
10/27/23, 0743 HOURS, 16XX MAYFIELD HEIGHTS RD THEFT
Officer was called about a theft from vehicle that happened in the 1600 block of Mayfield Heights Road.
Information was collected and a report was completed. Under investigation.
10/27/23, 1141 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY DRUGS
Officers were called to a gas station located in the 900 block of Sibley memorial Highway. Officers were told that
two people were in a vehicle passed out for an unknown amount of time. On scene, a man and woman were found
with illegal narcotics and weapons. The drugs and weapons were confiscated and both parties were taken into
custody before claiming the need for medical attention, at which time they were transported to the hospital. Case
was forwarded for charging.
10/28/23, 1559 HOURS, 11XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY FRAUD
Officers were dispatched to take a fraud report form the 1100 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Reporting party
stated he was defrauded by an unknown person. Information gathered. Case pending.
10/29/23, 0338 HOURS, HWY 13/SYLVANDALE RD DWI
Officer was on routine patrol traveling northbound on Highway 13 and Sylvandale Road. Officer observed a vehicle
traveling south the same direction at an extremely high rate of speed. Officer turned around to catch up to the
vehicle and observed the vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the road at high speeds. Officer stopped the
vehicle and observed signs of impairment in the driver. SFSTs were conducted and the driver was arrested and
transported to jail for DWI.
10/30/23, 0936 HOURS, 6XX SPRING ST SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
Officer was requested to call a man living on the 600 block of Spring Street reference a tracker that he had found in
the bed of his truck. The tracker was collected and entered into evidence. Under investigation.

10/30/23, 1528 HOURS, 35E/WAGON WHEEL TR FLEEING
Investigators were in the area of a stolen vehicle and located the vehicle. The vehicle fled from investigators and
the pursuit was turned over to assisting agencies.
10/30/23, 1954 HOURS, 6XX 3RD AVE AOA
Officers responded to the 600 block of 3rd Ave to assist Bloomington Police Department in locating a domestic
assault suspect. Officers found the suspect and placed him under arrest. Custody transferred to Bloomington
Police Department.
10/31/23, 0549 HOURS, 5XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE
Officer was dispatched to a vehicle off the road. Officer arrived on scene and ran the occupied vehicle. The vehicle
was listed as stolen and the driver was subsequently taken into custody without incident. The driver was booked
on Possession of Stolen Property, 2nd-Degree Drugs, and 5th-Degree Drugs.
11/01/23, 1623 HOURS, 13XX NORTHLAND DR MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
Officer received a report of a motor vehicle theft on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Suspect is known, vehicle
entered into NCIC as stolen. The following day, Woodbury PD recovered the vehicle and the driver was booked for
Possession of Stolen Property.
