06 09 23 WEEKLY CRIME REPORT 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report June 2nd—June 8th, 2023 6/2/23, 0830 HOURS, 25XX BROOKFIELD LANE IDENTITY THEFT Resident on Brookfield LN discovered that there was an unauthorized transaction in her online bank account. The bank was notified. There are no known suspects. 6/2/23, 1130 HOURS, 10XX BROMPTON PLACE TOWED VEHICLE Officer dispatched to a parking complaint at the 1000 block of Brompton Pl. The reporting party advised vehicle had been parked on the street for several days. Officer arrived and noticed that vehicle's front passenger side tire was off and the rim was on ground. Vehicle appeared abandoned. Vehicle was towed via Mark's towing. 6/2/23, 1258 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY BURGLARY Responded to a burglary report in the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Case is under investigation. 6/3/23, 0900 HOURS, 5XX HIGH RIDGE CIRCLE DISORDERLY CONDUCT Home owner that lives on High Ridge Circle felt that he had been threatened by a contractor. The work at this residents home was completed, but not to their satisfaction. Payment was not made, the contractor made comments that could be thought of as threatening, but they were more disorderly than threatening. Tried to contact the contractor, no answer. Message left. Case Status: Pending 6/4/23, 0652 HOURS, 11XX ORCHARD PLACE THEFT Officer dispatched to a theft of package at the 1100 block of Orchard Pl. The reporting party advised that a suspect ran up to her front door and stole the package that was out. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate the suspect. Officer gathered information from reporting party; Officer obtain security footage from reporting party. Officer wrote report. 6/4/23, 0445 HOURS, ACACIA DRIVE DAMAGE TO PROPERTY Officers were dispatched to an accident resulting in property damage at the 2000 block of Acacia Drive. The driver of the suspect vehicle stayed on scene to report the damage. Insurance information was obtained and provided to the Home Owner's Association. Waiting on a phone call from the Home Owner's association. No state crash report was completed. 6/5/23, 1300 HOURS, MENDOTA HEIGHTS ROAD DAMAGE TO PROPERTY Officer called reference a car being broken into in the 1300 block of Mendota Heights Road. The window was broken though nothing was stolen out of the vehicle. Cleared with a report. 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report June 2nd—June 8th, 2023 6/6/23, 0915 HOURS, 20XX DODD ROAD DISORDERLY CONDUCT Officers were called to a restaurant located on the 2000 block of Dodd Road for a reported disturbance involving a gun. On scene, the suspect was gone and an investigation took place. 6/6/23, 1517 HOURS, 20XX PATRICIA STREET ORDINANCE VIOLATION Responded to the 2000 block of Patricia St on a report of an Ordinance Violation. Case is under investigation. 6/6/23, 2009 HOURS, 5XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS ROAD HARRASSMENT Officer requested to contact a reporting party concerning potential harassment and violation of a restraining order. No violation occurred, but the actions were documented. 6/7/23, 2128 HOURS, 10XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY ACCIDENT Officers responded to a report of an accident with possible injuries in the 1000 Block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Both drivers were checked for injuries by medics. Neither driver was transported. One vehicle was towed from scene. 6/8/23, 1523 HOURS, 10XX HWY 62 THEFT Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Highway 62 for a theft complaint. Officers received information about past action thefts by an employee. Employee was on site when officers arrived. Employee was terminated and trespassed. Awaiting further evidence from speedway for formal charging. Case status is pending further investigation.
