05 05 23 WEEKLY CRIME REPORT 1101 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report April 28th—May 4th, 2023 4/28/23, 1412 HOURS, 13XX RIVERSIDE LN FRAUD A resident reported that someone had fraudulently taken out a loan in their name. Report created, case under investigation. 4/29/23, 0229 HOURS, 8XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY TS—DWI Officer observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on the 800 block of Highway 13. Officer conducted traffic stop and determined the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. Driver of the vehicle was arrested and brought back to the police department for a breath test. Driver of the vehicle conducted the test and was then taken to Dakota County Jail. 4/29/23, 1652 HOURS, 3XX E ST BURGLARY Responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 300 Block of E street. Suspect was arrested and transported to jail. 4/29/23, 1936 HOURS, DELAWARE/COPPERFIELD PI ACCIDENT Two vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Delaware / Copperfield. One party was taken to the hospi- tal due to injuries. Both vehicles were towed to Mark's. Crash is under investigation. 4/30/23, 1403 HOURS, CHERI/CYGNET FOUND PROPERTY Officer called to the intersection of Cheri Lane and Cygnet Lane to pick up a found wallet that a woman had found in the road. There was a debit card inside but the owner could not be identified. The wallet was placed into safe keeping. 4/30/23, 2227 HOURS, HWY 13/PILOT KNOB WARRANT Officer found male walking west along Hwy 13/ Pilot knob. Male was later determined to have a warrant. Male was transported to Dakota County Jail 5/2/23, 1208 HOURS, 21XX LEXINGTON AVE S WARRANT Responded to the 2100 block on a report of a theft of a vase that happened within the past 18 months. No suspects. Report filed. 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report April 28th—May 4th, 2023 5/2/23, 1533 HOURS, 22XX DODD RD SCHOOL BUS STOP ARM Investigated a reported school bus stop arm violation that happened in the 2200 block of Dodd Road. Unable to determine who the violator was. Report filed, case inactive. 5/3/23, 1336 HOURS, 10XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL SCHOOL BUS STOP ARM Officers dispatched to 1077 block of Hwy 13 for damage to property report. Officers contacted reporting party and took down report. No suspect information at this time. 5/3/23, 1404 HOURS, 7XX WILLOW LN THEFT Resident on Willow LN was notified by mail that an increase in their credit line was declined. Information in the letter provided a new address, which is not the victims. The resident then discovered that the license plates that had been mailed were never received. They did confirm with the dealership that the plates were mailed. Plates to be entered as stolen. Case Status: Inactive 5/4/23, 1001 HOURS, 21XX LEXINGTON AVE S FOUND PROPERTY Officers dispatched to 1077 block of Hwy 13 for damage to property report. Officers contacted reporting party and took down report. No suspect information at this time.
