April 14th—April 20th, 2023
04/14/23, 0930 HOURS, 5XX MARIE AVE FOUND PROPERTY
Officer took custody of a found cell phone and bundle of cash that was turned in by a resident. The found property
was located in the 500 block of Marie Ave. Property logged and placed into evidence for safekeeping.
04/14/23, 1152 HOURS, XXXX EAGLE RIDGE DR FOUND PROPERTY
Officer took custody of a found cell phone brought into the Police Department. Cell phone placed into evidence for
safekeeping and a report was submitted.
04/15/23, 0342 HOURS, 1XXX DAKOTA DR SUSPICIOUS/DRUGS
Officer was on patrol on the 1000 block of Dakota Drive. A vehicle was found with a person asleep in the passenger
seat of the vehicle. The person told officers he had a warrant for his arrest. The passenger was arrested for the
warrant and drug related charges and transported to the Dakota County Jail.
04/15/23, 2212 HOURS, 1XXX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD DOMESTIC/DRUGS
Officers responded to 1200 block of Mendota Heights Rd for a 911-hangup. Officers arrived on scene and detained
one adult male for domestic and drug related crimes against an adult female. The male was transported to jail.
04/16/23, 2200 HOURS, 6XX CALLAHAN PL AUTO THEFT
Officers located abandoned property in the 700 block of Marie Ave. Officers tracked property to the owner in the
600 block of Callahan Pl. Officers spoke with an adult male victim and determined that a vehicle theft had
occurred. Vehicle information submitted to NCIC as stolen.
04/18/23, 0017 HOURS, 35E/HWY 13 STOLEN AUTO/PURSUIT
Officers located a stolen vehicle in the area of 35E and Hwy 13 that was operating dangerously. Officers attempted
to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle fled. Officers chased the vehicle and utilized PIT techniques on the vehicle.
Vehicle was stopped in South St Paul on Hwy 494 where the driver and passenger were taken into custody on
charges.
04/19/23, 1321 HOURS, 6XX WESLEY LN AUTO THEFT
Officer took report of a stolen vehicle within the 600 block of Wesley Lane. Vehicle was taken with keys and has
been entered in as stolen.
