04 07 23 WEEKLY CRIME REPORT 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report March 31st—April 6th, 2023 04/02/23, 1527 HOURS, 12XX ROBERT ST DISTURBANCE/AOA Mendota Heights Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Robert Street to assist West St. Paul Police with an intoxicated male. Officers made contact with the male and he was transported to the hospital. 04/03/23, 0212 HOURS, 35E/WAGON WHEEL TR TRAFFIC STOP Officer was on routine patrol traveling south on I-35E and Wagon Wheel Trail. Officer observed a vehicle in front of them traveling the same direction with what appeared to be a fictitious license plates. Officer stopped the vehicle and learned the plate was fictitious and the real license plate was stolen. The adult female driver was arrested and transported to jail. 04/03/23, 1054 HOURS, HWY 62/DODD RD WARRANT Officer stopped vehicle for expired tabs. Driver had a felony warrant, was arrested without incident, and transported to Dakota County Jail. 04/04/23, 1152 HOURS, IVY HILL DR SUSPICIOUS PERSON Officers received information about a suspicious person removing mail from mailboxes on the 1100 block of Ivy Hills Drive. No suspects were located. Information passed on to officers for extra patrol. 04/05/23, 1015 HOURS, 21XX LEXINGTON AVE THEFT Officer took a theft complaint from a male who stated that sometime from 9/1/22 to 11/23/22, a bronze vase was stolen from a family member's grave at Resurrection Cemetery. No suspects. 04/06/23, 0754 HOURS, 14XX NORTHLAND DR THEFT Officer responded to location on a report of a theft. Victim stated that sometime over the course of a long weekend, two catalytic convertors were stolen from the same truck. No suspects. 04/06/23, 0939 HOURS, 13XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD THEFT Officer took a theft report from a victim who stated that two work vehicles had been oddly low on fuel and discovered that a hole was drilled in the fuel tank where gas was siphoned out. No suspects.
