Weekly Crime Report
March 3rd—March 9th, 2023
03/03/23, 0851 HOURS, 9XX DELAWARE AVE BURGLARY
Officer was called to the 900 block of Delaware avenue for a reported vehicle theft. Unknown suspects entered a
garage and stole a vehicle. Later in the afternoon, Eagan officers located the vehicle unoccupied in a hotel parking
lot. The owners were notified.
03/03/23, 1032 HOURS, 13XX DODD RD TRESPASS
Parent of a student was trespassed from the building after repeated disturbances were caused over issues with
administrative staff.
03/03/23, 2301 HOURS, DODD RD/MARIE AVE DWI
Officers were dispatched to an accident with no injuries at the intersection of Dodd Road and Marie Avenue.
Officer made contact with both drivers and determined one of the drivers showed significant signs of impairment.
One of the drivers admitted to alcohol consumption. The driver was put through roadside sobriety tests and
arrested for DWI. The driver was charged with 2nd-degree DWI and booked into the Dakota County Jail. A State
Crash report was completed.
03/05/23, 0449 HOURS, 35E/WAGON WHEEL TR RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY
Officer observed a vehicle traveling north on I-35E and Wagon Wheel Trail that was varying speeds and weaving
heavily between lanes. Officer stopped the vehicle and learned the vehicle was stolen. The two juvenile occupants
were taken into custody. The driver was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center and the passenger was released to
a guardian.
03/05/23, 2205 HOURS, 3XX E ST CIVIL
Officers received a report of a child custody dispute on the 300 block of E Street. Officers spoke with the female
half and advised it was a civil matter.
03/06/23, 1310 HOURS, 1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY THEFT
Officer requested to call a woman living near the 1000 block of Sibley Memorial Highway reference the theft of a
package. Information was collected and a report was completed.

03/06/23, 1535 HOURS, DODD RD/PAGEL RD PD ACCIDENT
Officers responded to a two vehicle crash near Dodd Road and Pagel Road. No injuries were reported. One vehicle
was towed. Both had minor damage.
03/07/23, 0955 HOURS, 7XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD TRESPASS
Officer responded to the 700 block of Mendota Heights Road where a parent was subsequently issued a Trespass
Notice for causing a disturbance.
03/07/23, 1146 HOURS, 11XX CENTRE POINTE DR MENTAL HEALTH
Officer responded to the 1100 block of Centre Pointe Drive to assist on a mental health evaluation. Subject was
transported to the hospital on an Emergency Transport Hold.
03/08/23, 1445 HOURS, 1XXX DODD RD MISSING PERSON
Officer responded to the 1400 block of Dodd Road on a report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile has a history of
running away. Details were obtained on the last whereabouts. Case is active.
03/09/23, 0750 HOURS, MARIE AVE/VICTORIA AVE PI ACCIDENT
Vehicle #1 (school bus) was traveling E/B on Marie Ave at the stop sign of a controlled intersection. vehicle #2 was
traveling S/B on Victoria Rd, approaching the same intersection. Witnesses saw the driver of vehicle #2 drive past
the stop sign, enter the intersection, and get struck by vehicle #1. This impact caused Vehicle #1 to strike vehicle
#3 which was stopped at the intersection, facing N/B on Victoria Rd, south of Marie Ave.
