02/24/23, 1924 HOURS, 25XX CLAREMONT DR THEFT
Officer spoke with resident who said she fell for a pre paid gift card scam. Victim received a voicemail from
someone claiming the worked for Xfinity. They said they were offering a promotion for a reduced Xfinity bill where
you can pay half of a yearly bill for a discount and told to calling the billing department. She did so and was told to
get prepaid Target gift cards for $657, given a confirmation number then told she could call back before a certain
time. She did so and gave the card and access numbers on the gift cards. No suspects at this time.
02/25/23, 1542 HOURS, 1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY MEDICAL
Officer was dispatched to a medical on the 1000 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. The patient was transported to
the hospital.
02/26/23, 1136 HOURS, 11XX DODD RD BURGLARY
Officers were called to a burglary in progress near the 1100 block of Dodd Road. On scene, the suspect came out of
the house and was taken into custody. Statements were collected and the suspect was taken to the Dakota County
Jail. Case was forwarded to Dakota County Attorney's Office for charging.
02/26/23, 0111 HOURS, HWY 55/HWY 5 AOA/DWI
Officer was informed of a vehicle off the road at the intersection of Highway 55 and Highway 5. Officer went to
assist State Patrol and located a vehicle over the barrier with a driver standing near the vehicle. The driver showed
significant signs of impairment and was put through roadside sobriety tests and arrested for DWI. The driver was
charged with 3rd-Degree DWI refusal and booked into the Dakota County Jail.
02/27/23, 0844 HOURS, 18XX DELAWARE AVE AOA
Juvenile female reports ongoing harassment by her ex-boyfriend and over the weekend, it got physical at a hotel in
Shakopee. Report taken and was forwarded to Shakopee PD for investigation.
03/01/23, 0226 HOURS, 7XX LINDEN ST FOUND DOG
Officers were dispatched to a dog in distress on the 700 block of Linden Street. The dog was a male golden
retriever with red collar. Officers got the dog untangled from the tree and impounded it at the South Saint Paul
Animal Hospital.

03/01/23, 0808 HOURS, 21XX HWY 13 MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
Resident of an apartment complex on the 2100 block of Hwy 13, discovered that their vehicle was missing from the
parking lot. The surveillance video shows that the vehicle was stolen at 0337 on 03/01/2023 but was of poor
quality. There are no known suspects.
03/01/23, 0834 HOURS, 888 MARIE AVE FOUND DOG
Officer responded to the 800 block of Marie Avenue on a found dog. The dog was a small female lab mix, yellow in
color with no tag or collar. A social media post was created and the dog was impounded.
03/01/23, 1142 HOURS, 12XX SYLVANDALE RD HARASSMENT
Officer responded to a report of harassing communications received on the 1200 block of Sylvandale Road.
Resources were provided. Report for informational purposes only. No charges.
03/02/23, 0736 HOURS, 19XX TWIN CIRCLE DR ORDINANCE VIOLATION
Officer received a complaint on a possible ordinance violation at location. A letter was written to the homeowner
outlining the violations. A follow-up will be made in April to ensure compliance has been met.
03/02/23, 1016 HOURS, 21XX THERESA ST THEFT
A resident on Theresa St was swindled out of $9,500.00. They were alerted by what was thought to be Microsoft
that there was an issue with their computer. Access was granted, the funds were taken from their US Bank
account. There are no known suspects.
