I, Hayley Heidelberg, do solemnly swear to perform my duty as a Fire Captain for the
city of Mendota Heights to the best of my ability; to serve my commanding officers
and subordinates with respect and dignity, to preserve and protect life and property
from fire and other hazards through community education, emergency response and
community service. I understand that there is a responsibility with the trumpets I wear
on my collar. I will serve the citizens of the cities of Mendota Heights, Lilydale,
Mendota and Sunfish Lake with compassion, dedication, honor and integrity. I will
uphold the highest standard of a professional firefighter and the proud traditions of the
Mendota Heights Fire Department and the laws and constitutions of the United States
of America, the state of Minnesota, and the city of Mendota Heights,
