07 01 22 WEEKLY CRIME REPORT 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report June 24th - June 30th, 2022 6/24/2022, 0404 HOURS, CHRISTENSEN AVE/MENDOTA RD ASSIST OTHER AGENCY Officer assisted the West St. Paul Police Department with their perimeter after suspects fled from a vehicle pursuit near the intersection of Christensen Avenue and Mendota Rd. Suspects were located in a nearby backyard and taken in to custody with out incident. Officer assisted with transporting one of the individuals back to the West St. Paul Police Department. 6/24/2022, 0638 HOURS, CHIPPEWA AVE/ELLEN ST MENTAL HEALTH Officers responded to a suspicious person in a vehicle near Chippewa Ave and Ellen St. Upon arrival the lone occupant, who is known to officers, became irate and wanted to report a sexual assault. After investigation it was determined to be mental health related. 6/24/2022, 1456 HOURS, 12XX SYLVANDALE RD THEFT Officer received a report of a mail theft on the 1200 block of Sylvandale Road. Officer spoke with the adult female victim who stated her mail was taken by an unknown suspect. There was no video of the incident. Case inactive. 6/25/2022, 0103 HOURS, HWY 62/LEXINGTON AVE ASSIST OTHER AGENCY Officers assisted West Saint Paul Police Department in a pursuit of a vehicle westbound Highway 62. Officer deployed stop sticks on the vehicle at Highway 62 and Lexington Avenue. Suspect vehicle came to a stop at MSP Airport and a foot pursuit ensued. WSP apprehended the suspect. 6/25/2022, 1939 HOURS, 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY THEFT Officer was dispatched to a report of theft on the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Suspects stole sunglasses and possibly medicine from the shelf. Officer arrived and spoke with staff. Suspects left in stolen vehicle. Under investigation. 6/27/2022, 0925 HOURS, 23XX LEXINGTON AVE BURGLARY Officer was dispatched to a theft on the 2300 block of Lexington Ave. The reporting party stated that a power supply attachment for his motorcycle was stolen sometime last week from the underground parking garage. Case pending security footage. 1101 Victoria Curve, Mendota Heights, MN 55118 * Non-Emergency 651.452.1366 Mendota Heights Police Department Weekly Crime Report June 24th - June 30th, 2022 6/27/2022, 1407 HOURS, CENTRE POINTE CURVE/LEXINGTON AVE OPEN BOTTLE Officer made a traffic stop at the intersection of Centre Pointe Curve and Lexington Ave. Officer spoke with driver and located an open bottle of alcohol inside the vehicle. Officer searched the vehicle and located more open bottles of alcohol. Driver cited for open bottle. 6/30/2022, 1145 HOURS, 23XX ROGERS AVE PI ACCIDENT A witness reported a personal injury accident at the intersection of Rogers Ave And Bluebill Dr. A pick - up truck was pulling a trailer, went off the roadway and struck a house. The house was occupied. The driver stated that he passed out. No drugs or alcohol were involved. The house sustained significant damage but no injuries to the homeowners. The driver was transported to the hospital.
