03 25 22 JTF 1 ORDINANCE VIOLATION — 2XXX PATRICIA ST 03/18/22, 1458 HOURS Officer initiated a traffic stop on Marie Ave and Delaware Ave. Officer discovered the driver had an outstanding warrant out of Ramsey County and the driver was arrested. 2ND DEG DWI—9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 03/19/21, 0215 HOURS Officer was on routine patrol and observed a vehicle parked in front of a closed business on the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Officer made contact with the vehicle and spoke with the single adult male driver. Officer believed the driver was under the influence and conducted SFSTs. The driver was placed under arrest for DWI. PROPERTY DAMAGE—1XXX CHIPPEWA AVE 03/18/22, 2300 HOURS Officer took a theft report from the 1000 block of Chippewa Ave. Caller stated that their catalytic converter was cut off their vehicle while it was parked on the street overnight. No suspects known. Information gathered, case inactive. THEFT—2XXX PILOT KNOB RD 03/19/22, 0328 HOURS Officer was dispatched to theft call at a local business. The reporting party advised that aluminum wire was stolen from his business. The reporting party provided Officer with security footage. Officer gathered information and wrote report. HIT & RUN—DODD RD/MARIE AVE 03/19/22, 1103 HOURS Officers responded to a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Dodd Rd and Marie Ave. Two vehicles were involved but only one stayed on scene. Driver description and plate information of the other vehicle involved was gathered. Citation later issued to suspect driver. 4TH DEG DWI—2XXX DODD RD 03/21/22, 0215 HOURS Officer was on routine patrol traveling northbound on the 2000 block of Dodd Road. Officer observed a vehicle traveling in front of them with equipment violations and other driving conduct. Officer stopped the vehicle and believed the driver was under the influence. Officer had the adult male driver conduct SFSTs and believed the male was impaired. The driver was arrested and booked in on 4th degree DWI. BURGLARY/AUTO THEFT—1XXX SOUTH LN 03/21/22, 1500 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a burglary in progress at a residence and a vehicle was being stolen. Officer located the vehicle and attempted to stop the car. A vehicle pursuit ensued and the occupants fled on foot. All parties were ultimately taken into custody. Case status is juvenile arrest. 03.18.22—03.25.22 2 4TH DEG DWI—WACHTLER/WENTWORTH AVE 03/21/22, 2321 HOURS Officer was on routine patrol traveling northbound on Wachtler Avenue and observed a vehicle traveling southbound at a high rate of speed. Officer stopped the vehicle and identified the adult male driver. Officer observed signs of impairment and had the driver perform SFSTs. The driver was then placed under arrest and transported to jail on DWI charges. MAIL THEFT—1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 03/10/22, 0800 HOURS Responded to a report of mail theft that had occurred earlier in the month. Another Minnesota police department had arrested a suspect in possession of stolen mail belonging to the victim. Case is under investigation. HIT & RUN—1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 03/22/22, 1405 HOURS Officer was called in reference to a hit and run accident that had taken place at a local business parking lot. The suspect vehicle plate was recorded incorrectly; no other viable suspect information is available. Case inactive. 3RD DEG DWI—35E/SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 03/22/22, 1736 HOURS Officer observed vehicle driving on Sibley Memorial Highway; the driver of the vehicle appeared to be the male in a warrant hit from DVS. Officer attempted to stop vehicle but it did not stop and continued into St. Paul. Officer followed and took the driver into custody. The driver was charged with DWI and was trans- ported to Dakota County Jail. DISTURBING PEACE—2XXX PATRICIA ST 03/23/22, 0533 HOURS Officer received a report of a loud running vehicle on the 2000 block of Patricia Street. Officer located the vehicle and found an adult female in the driver's seat slumped over. Officer woke up the female and she stated she had been up for a long period of time and fell asleep. No signs of impairment were observed. She was advised to get some rest. PACKAGE THEFT—7XX EVERGREEN KNOLLS 03/23/22, 1353 HOURS Victim discovered that one of her delivered packages had been stolen. There is no video, there are no known suspects, and the victim is getting the property replaced. Case Status: Inactive WARRANT ARREST—1XXX NORTHLAND DR 03/24/22, 0924 HOURS Officers were advised by a neighboring jurisdiction that a male party with an active warrant was staying near the 1000 block of Northland Drive. The male was contacted and was arrested. The warrant was confirmed and he was taken to the Dakota County Jail. Inactive 03.18.22—03.24.22
