10 22 21 JTF 1 THEFT—14XX NORTHLAND DR 10/14/21, 0300 HOURS Officer was contacted by a business owner in reference to a theft of company equipment. Some video evidence was obtained. Forwarded to investigations. ASSAULT—18XX DELAWARE AVE 10/15/21, 1318 HOURS Responded to investigate an assault. One juvenile was arrested for 5th Degree Assault. Case forwarded for charging. THEFT/FRAUD—PILOT KNOB/ACACIA BLVD 10/15/21, 1730 HOURS Officers dispatched to the off-leash dog park at Pilot Knob Rd / Acacia Blvd for a theft report. Officer made contact with adult female victim. Belongings were stolen from vehicle and the victim ’s credit card was used fraudulently. Report made. TS/DWI—HWY 13/HWY 62 10/17/21, 0116 HOURS Officer observed a vehicle stopped randomly within the lane of traffic, then took off. Officer caught up to and stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Highway 5 / Highway 55. Driver was under the influence and was arrested. He was transported to Dakota Jail on a book and release. Case Status - Arrest FLEEING/SUSPICIOUS—PILOT KNOB/ENTERPRISE 10/17/21, 0110 HOURS Officer observed a suspicious vehicle on Pilot Knob near Enterprise. Officer initiated a traffic stop on Highway 13 near Highway 62. Vehicle took off and officer did not pursue the vehicle. Case inactive. VANDALISM—21XX HWY 13 10/17/21, 0900 HOURS Officer was dispatched to take a report of a vandalism. Officer met with the victim and who stated he returned from vacation and found his driver’s side window had been smashed out. Victim did not believe anything had been stolen but later reported he had recovered a suitcase that had been taken from the vehicle. Officer provided the victim with a case number for insurance purposes. FOUND PROPERTY—DODD RD/KEOKUK LN 10/17/21, 1033 HOURS Officer dispatched to a found property call at the Mendota Heights PD. The reporting party advised that she had found keys at the intersection of Dodd Rd and Keokuk Ln. Officer placed the keys into evidence for safe keeping. 10.15.21—10.21.21 2 THEFT—21XX HWY 13 10/16/21, 0637 HOURS Officers responded to a phone call report of a theft of catalytic converter. The theft happened over the weekend and no suspect information is known at this time. 5TH DEG DRUGS—18XX DELAWARE AVE 10/18/21, 1057 HOURS Responded to call for assistance with a drug investigation. Case is pending test results of the evidence that was seized. THEFT—14XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 10/01/21, 1111 HOURS Officer took a theft report from reporting party who stated that sometime in the last month the catalytic converter was stolen from her vehicle. No suspect information, case inactive. HIT & RUN ACCIDENT—WENTWORTH/DELAWARE 10/18/21, 1402 HOURS Officer dispatched to a hit and run accident near Delaware Ave and Wentworth Ave. Reporting party provided a very limited description of the vehicle that had left the scene. No suspect information. Report only. HARASSMENT ORDER VIOLATION—7XX ROUND HILL RD 10/19/21, 1139 HOURS Officer was dispatched to take a report of a violation of a harassment order. The reporting party has a HRO against husband’s ex-girlfriend, who has been defaming the reporting party via social media. Investigation ongoing. FRAUD—25XX LOCKWOOD DR 10/16/21, 1139 HOURS Officer was dispatched to the police lobby to take a report from a resident regarding fraudulent activity. Officer met with the victim who stated they received an email that a loan had been approved. The resident stated they did not apply for a loan. The next day, the resident reported another loan had been taken out in their name. In both instances, the financial institutes were successful in stopping payments. Officer pro- vided the resident with a case number for the report. THEFT AUTO PARTS—1800 DELAWARE AVE 10/19/21, 0800 HOURS Responded to take a report of a theft of a catalytic converter. Report filed. 10.08.21—10.14.21 3 DOMESTIC—9XX DOMESTIC ASSAULT 10/29/21, 2304 HOURS Officers were dispatched on report of a domestic assault that had just occurred. Officer made contact with the female victim and gathered information. The male suspect was located a couple blocks away and taken into custody. The male was transported to Dakota County Jail. BURGLARY—9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 10/20/21, 1211 HOURS Officers responded to a senior living complex and spoke with the reporting party. They had discovered several maintenance items were moved around in the underground garage. Staff watched video and discovered someone forced entry into the building at 0145 hours. 10.08.21—10.14.21
