11 05 21 JTF 1 DOG BITE—8XX MARIE AVE 10/29/21 1521 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a past action report of a dog bite in the 800 block of Marie Avenue. Officer gathered information from both parties and issued a potentially dangerous dog form to the owner. VANDALISM — 6XX MULBERRY LN 10/29/21, 2148 HOURS Officer received a report of vandalism to his vehicle. Officer spoke with the adult male victim who stated his vehicle was egged and the impact scratched the paint. The male's juvenile daughter had received text messages from the suspect regarding the incident. This report was sent for charges. DOMESTIC — 19XX KNOB ROAD 10/30/21, 1750 HOURS Officers responded to a report of drunkenness. Caller stated that his son was verbally aggressive and intoxicated, and resulted in a domestic assault. Due to the suspect ’s intoxication level a hold was placed for his safety. Case forwarded for felony Domestic Assault charges. HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT — HWY 13/LEMAY LAKE RD 10/31/21, 1158 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a hit and run call. The reporting party advised that it appeared that a vehicle had crashed sometime overnight. She advised that there was debris in the street. The reporting party was able to provide information on the vehicle that was involved. Officer gathered information and took photos. Officer found that a sign pole off of Hwy 13 had been damaged. Officer made contact with the driver and gathered information. Officer completed a State Accident Report and the driver received a citation. DWI — WENTWORTH/DELAWARE AVE 10/31/21, 2030 HOURS Officer conducted a traffic stop upon noticing a vehicle driver exhibiting possible signs of impairment, and found the registered owner was suspended. Officer conducted a traffic stop and ultimately determined the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. Driver was arrested and later transported to Dakota County Jail. BURGLARY — 18XX EAGLE RIDGE 11/01/21, 1452 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a burglary call at an apartment building. The reporting party advised that someone entered the apartment building and stole a package from the vestibule. Officer gathered information and reviewed security footage. No suspects at this time. DISORDERLY CONDUCT — 7XX MAIN ST 11/01/21, 1720 HOURS Officers were dispatched to the location on a past action damage to property. Officers arrived and spoke with the reporting party, who stated three juvenile males came to the second floor and proceeded to kick all of the doors to the offices, and smashed light bulbs in the stairwells. Pictures and video were captured. Under investigation. 10.29.21—11.04.21 2 DWI — HWY 62/HWY 13 11/01/21, 1814 HOURS Officer observed a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run and attempted to stop the vehicle. Vehicle did not stop for the officer and continued driving. The vehicle crashed on the Mendota Bridge. The driver was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was transported to Dakota County Jail. RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE — 11XX VICTORIA CURVE 11/02/21, 2021 HOURS Officer was dispatched to take a follow up call at MHPD. The DMV reported someone was attempting to transfer the title on a possible stolen trailer from 2017. Officer confirmed that the trailer was still stolen and contacted the party attempting to transfer the title. The owner of the trailer and the involved party came to an agreement and coordinated the transfer of the title. Case is under investigation. THEFT — 21XX LEXINGTON AVE 11/03/21, 1328 HOURS Reporting party discovered a vase was missing from their loved one ’s burial site. Information was gathered. No suspects at this time. ORDINANCE VIOLATION — 2XXX PATRICIA ST 11/03/21, 1723 HOURS Officers received a complaint about scrap metal and loud noise coming from the property. Officers arrived and did not hear anything. Ongoing issue; incident forwarded to city code enforcement. 10.29.21—11.04.21
