10 15 21 JTF 1 TRESPASSING — 18XX DELAWARE AVE 10/08/21, 1339 HOURS Officer received a juvenile complaint that resulted in the issuance of a Trespass Notice. THREATS — 18XX DELAWARE AVE 10/08/21, 1836 HOURS Officer received a report of a threat against a juvenile male on the 1800 block of Delaware Avenue. Officer spoke with the juvenile who stated he received threatening messages from an unknown subject via WhatsApp, demanding money or harm will be brought to him and his family. This incident is under investigation. DWI — 6XX MULBERRY LN 10/08/21, 2034 HOURS Officers were dispatched to a driving complaint that ended on the 600 block of Mulberry. The driver was placed under arrest for DUI. Due to the driver ’s high level of intoxication and possible medical issues, the driver was transported to the hospital. A search warrant for the driver ’s blood was completed. Case status is pending blood results. DWI — 8XX WESTVIEW CI 10/09/21, 0305 HOURS Officer responded to a suspicious vehicle parked on Westview Circle. Officer made contact with the driver and placed the driver through SFSTs. The driver was placed under arrest for DUI. The vehicle was towed and the driver was booked into Dakota County Jail for 4th degree DUI. AOA — HWY 55/NORTHLAND DR 10/09/21, 0842 HOURS Officers overheard southern Dakota County agencies pursuing a stolen vehicle. The suspect vehicle entered Mendota Heights on Hwy 55 at Northland Dr. Officer was able to toss stop sticks in the path of this vehicle. MN State Troopers pursued vehicle into Minneapolis where the driver was taken into custody. THEFT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 10/09/21, 0900 HOURS A guest at a hotel on Northland Dr. discovered that the catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle. The theft took place between 2030 hours on 10-08-2021 and 0830 hours on 10-09-2021. There are no known suspects. THEFT — 2XXX SUMMIT LN 10/09/21, 1214 HOURS Resident in the 2000 block of Summit Lane discovered that a catalytic converter was stolen from one of their vehicles. Theft was unwitnessed and there are no known suspects. The time frame was from 10/08 - 10/09/2021. THEFT — 1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 10/11/21, 1459 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a past action theft report. Resident reported that a package was taken from the mail room that was addressed to her. A suspect was identified and it was admitted to, however, victim decided not to press charges. 10.08.21—10.14.21 2 ANIMAL CALL — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 10/12/21, 0004 HOURS Officers were called to a report of an abandoned dog. Parties stated that the owner stated she no longer wanted her dog and would not take care of him. Officers identified the owner and the dog was taken to the animal hospital for safekeeping. TRAFFIC STOP — 18XX DELAWARE AVE 10/12/21, 0914 HOURS Officers were called to location to investigate a possible trespassing. Investigation revealed only traffic related offenses occurred. A citation was issued. DRUG PARAPHERNALIA — 18XX DELAWARE AVE 10/12/21, 1120 HOURS Officer responded to location on reports of a juvenile possessing drug paraphernalia. Information was gathered and the individual was identified and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Case referred to the Dakota County Juvenile Attorney’s Office. THEFT — 25XX PILOT KNOB RD 10/12/21, 1622 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a theft in progress where suspects stole multiple items from an open gym. Suspects were gone on arrival. Officer gathered information from witnesses and video surveillance. A KOPS alert was issued for the suspect vehicle. DOMESTIC — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 10/12/21, 2233 HOURS Officers responded to reports of a domestic on the 1300 block of Northland Dr. Upon arrival, officers placed the suspect in custody and conducted an investigation. Suspect was booked on domestic. ASSAULT — 13XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 10/13/21, 1531 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a road and driving complaint on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Dispatch advised a gun was shown during a road rage incident. Officer searched the area but could not find the suspect vehicle. No suspects. DISTURBING THE PEACE — 2XXX PATRICIA ST 10/13/21, 2241 HOURS Officer responded to location on a report of a loud scraping noise coming from the neighbor’s house. Officers made contact with the neighbor and they stated they were getting some work done. Officer reminded them of the time of night and they agreed to stop the work for the night. THEFT — MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD/DELAWARE AVE 10/14/21, 1759 HOURS Officers reported to location on a theft from vehicle report. Victim stated a window was broken out and items were missing. No suspects. 10.08.21—10.14.21 3 FRAUD — 8XX HIGHVIEW CI 10/14/21, 1752 HOURS Officers received a report of a theft from swindle. An adult female victim was swindled by an unknown party and sent a large sum of money over the phone by purchasing gift cards. No suspects. THREATS — 7XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 10/14/21, 2233 HOURS Officers were contacted by school administration regarding a social media post where a student was holding weapons. Contact was made with the student and parents. School administration will be handling the matter. 10.08.21—10.14.21
