09 24 21 JTF 1 DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 23XX PILOT KNOB RD 09/17/21, 0914 HOURS Dispatched to a damage to property call in the 2300 block of Pilot Knob Rd. The reporting party heard a window shatter, ran in the direction of the sound, observed a male running back to a vehicle and sped away. Suspect was described as a 30 year old white male, driving a rust colored SUV. Plate provided does not match suspect vehicle description. Unable to make contact with vehicle owner, message left. THEFT — 13XX DODD RD 09/17/21, 1519 HOURS Student from the elementary school in the 1300 block of Dodd Rd had a bicycle stolen from the bike rack. Pending video surveillance. THEFT — 16XX DODD RD 09/18/21, 0737 HOURS Officer was dispatched a report of past action theft on the 1600 block of Dodd Road. Officer was advised a golf cart had been stolen overnight and the cable was cut. Officer spoke with a neighbor for possible camera footage. Pending. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 13XX MEDORA RD 09/18/21, 1312 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a past action vandalism/damage to property on the 1300 block of Medora Road. No suspects. MENTAL HEALTH — 8XX MARIE AVE 09/18/21, 1356 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a welfare check on the 800 block of Marie Ave. Officer located a party who advised they wanted to be given the lethal injection shot. Medics arrived on scene and transported the party to the hospital. BURGLARY — 14XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 09/18/21, 1315 HOURS Officers were dispatched to a report of past action burglary. Officers spoke with the reporting party and searched the area. Officers found evidence of a burglary. Officers discovered a vehicle was stolen as well as computers, money, and prescription pills. Officers gathered evidence and photographs. Under investigation. MEDICAL — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 09/19/21, 1401 HOURS Officers responded to the 1300 block of Northland Drive for a medical call. Officers attended to a patient who was having an apparent overdose. Patient was transported to the hospital. DWI — HWY 62/35E 09/19/21, 1535 HOURS Officers responded to the area of Highway 62 and 35E for a driving complaint. Officers made contact with the driver. Officers administered SFSTs. Driver was arrested for DWI. Driver was transported to Dakota County Jail. 09.17.21—09.23.21 2 THEFT — 18XX ORCHARD HILL 09/19/21, 1315 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a report of past action theft on the 1800 block of Orchard Hill. Officer spoke with the reporting party and determined there was a theft of lawn equipment and damage to an internet box on the side of the house. No suspects. TRESPASSING — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 09/19/21, 1357 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a report of trespassing on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Officer was advised of a party that was refusing to leave. Officers escorted the party off of the premises and assisted with a ride to Burnsville. Officers informed the party of penalties if they return. IMPOUND — HWY 62/DODD RD 09/20/21, 0909 HOURS Officer observed an abandoned motorcycle parked on the bike path near the intersection of Highway 62 and Dodd Road. Officer was unable to locate the rider. The registered owner of the motorcycle shows several warrants for his arrest. Due to the motorcycle being abandoned on the bike path, it was impounded. Owner did not show an active phone number. FRAUD — 19XX CROWN POINT DR 09/20/21, 1205 HOURS Officers received information about a fraud which occurred at the 1900 block of Crown Point Dr. Reporting party received information about her airline miles being stolen, and the airline was investigating an internet scam. FRAUD — 20XX ACACIA DR 09/20/21, 1502 HOURS Reporting party had a gift card redeemed by an unknown party. No suspects. FRAUD — 7XX MAIN ST 09/21/21, 1123 HOURS A local business on the 700 block of Main St reported a fraudulent check was passed. Under investigation. BURGLARY — 17XX LEXINGTON AVE 09/21/21, 1307 HOURS Officer was dispatched to call the victim of a past action burglary that occurred on the 1700 block of Lexington Avenue. Officer spoke with the victim who stated they were on vacation and returned that day to find someone had stolen their electric bicycle from the storage room. Officer took a report and entered the bicycle as stolen. No suspect information at this time. IDENTITY THEFT — 19XX CROWN POINT DR 09/21/21, 1627 HOURS Officer responded to a walk-in report involving an American Airlines miles account. Reporting party stated that a total of 120,000 miles were stolen and sent to unauthorized accounts. American Airlines will reimburse the victim and take back the stolen miles. 09.17.21—09.23.21 3 BURGLARY — 1XXX HWY 13 09/20/21, 1433 HOURS Officer spoke with the victim who stated that a package of mail was stolen from the mail room sometime on or after 9/14/21. No suspects at this time. THEFT — 12XX NORTHLAND DR 09/21/21, 1753 HOURS Officers took a theft report from the 1200 block of Northland Drive. Officers were advised there were catalytic converters stolen from a business parking lot. Case status is inactive. 09.17.21—09.23.21
