08 05 21 JTF 1 THEFT — 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 07/30/21, 1515 HOURS Officer called by a party who works near the 1300 block of Sibley Memorial Highway in reference to a catalytic converter that had been stolen off of a work truck. There was no available suspect information or security footage of the incident. Case inactive. DWI — 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 07/30/21, 2338 HOURS Officer conducted traffic stop at the 2300 block of Lexington Ave on suspicion of a DWI. Officer noticed signs of impairment. Driver was determined to be under the influence and was transported to Dakota County Jail. AOA — HWY 62/ROBERT TRAIL 07/31/21, 1955 HOURS Officer observed a vehicle from a nearby theft in WSP. Officer was advised to stop the vehicle. Occupants exited the vehicle and one occupant gave a false name. WSPPD responded to take over the incident. DRUGS — HWY 62/CARMEN LN 08/01/21, 0239 HOURS Officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Hwy 62 and Carmen Lane. Officer could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver admitted to having drug paraphernalia. The driver was released on the scene pending formal drug charges. ASSAULT — 7XX HWY 62 08/01/21, 2049 HOURS Officer was dispatched to location on a possible assault. The reporting party stated that a man had threatened her and left the property before officers arrived. Officers made contact with the male and he was cited for 5th Degree Assault. AOA — 10XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 08/04/21, 0332 HOURS While out on patrol, officer came across a male matching the description of someone who had fled from State Patrol earlier in the area. Officer detained the individual and troopers responded and identified the male as the one who had fled. Custody was transferred to State Patrol. DRUGS — HWY 494/DODD RD 08/04/21, 2050 HOURS Officer observed a vehicle that had committed several traffic violations. The officer identified the passenger as having two warrants. The female driver consented to a vehicle search and drug paraphernalia was found. The female was advised formal charges would be coming in the mail. The male was transported to jail on his warrants. 07.30.21—08.05.21
