07 16 21 JTF 1 THEFT — 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 07/09/21, 0803 HOURS Officer received a report of a theft of a catalytic converter on the 2300 block of Lexington Avenue. Officer spoke with the adult male victim who stated the theft occurred sometime overnight. There are no suspects at this time. SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES — 1XXX OVERLOOK RD 07/09/21, 2014 HOURS Officer was dispatched to suspicious activity on the 1000 block over Overlook Road. Officer spoke with the house-sitter for the property who reported she found a deceased animal on the doorstep, and it has happened on multiple occasions. Officer spoke with the house-sitter and completed a report. The officer's attempts to speak with the homeowner directly were unsuccessful. THEFT — 7XX S PLAZA WAY 07/10/21, 0837 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a theft report at the 700 block of South Plaza Way. The reporting party advised that an item was stolen from their front door. Case is Inactive. BURGLARY — 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 07/10/21, 1012 HOURS Officer dispatched to a theft from motor vehicle on the 2300 block of Lexington Ave. The reporting party stated that his vehicle had been gone through and items were missing. He advised that his vehicle was parked in an underground parking garage. Case pending possible video surveillance. DWI — 35E/HWY 62 07/10/21, 1824 HOURS Officer conducted traffic stop at the intersection of 35E/62. Driver was uncooperative and gave a false name to officers. Officers smelled the odor of consumed alcoholic beverage. Driver refused all tests, and was transported to Dakota Jail on multiple charges. THREATS — 12XX LAKEVIEW AVE 07/11/21, 1142 HOURS Officer dispatched to a threats call at the 1200 block of Lakeview Ave. The reporting party stated that his neighbor threatened to shoot his vehicle and him if he did not move his vehicle. Officers arrested the suspect. Suspect advised that he did not want to speak with officers. Suspect was transported to Dakota County Jail. FLEEING — ANNAPOLIS ST/SMITH AVE 07/11/21, 1916 HOURS Officer attempted a traffic stop on Annapolis Street near Smith Avenue on an orange sport bike. The sport bike slowed down before fleeing from the officer. The officer was able to determine the driver was the registered owner of the bike and charges will be forthcoming. 07.09.21—07.15.21 2 TAMPER W/ MOTOR VEHICLE — 14XX DODD RD 07/11/21, 2016 HOURS Officer responded to the 1400 block of Dodd Road on a report of a suspicious person. After reviewing footage, officer determined that a crime had been committed. Officer was able to determine a suspect. Case Status is active. DRUGS — 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 07/12/21, 1641 HOURS Officers were dispatched to a welfare check where a male was passed out in a vehicle at the gas pumps. Officers made contact with the male and found he was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers arrested the male and searched the vehicle. The male was transported to Dakota County Jail. DISTURBANCE/WARRANT — MARIE AVE/CALLAHAN PL 07/12/21, 1952 HOURS Officers responded to a disturbance at the intersection of Marie and Callahan. Upon arrival, officers determined that it was not a physical disturbance but one party did have a warrant. The person was arrested for the warrant. BURGLARY — 7XX S PLAZA WAY 07/13/21, 1642 HOURS Officer spoke with reporting party who stated her bicycle was stolen from the underground garage parking in her building. Case pending. DISORDERLY CONDUCT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 07/14/21, 0236 HOURS Officer responded to the 1300 block of Northland Dr on reports of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officer arrested one party for disorderly conduct and transported him to jail. DWI — LEMAY LAKE RD 07/15/21, 2328 HOURS Officer was traveling on Lemay Lake Road and Mendota Heights Road when he observed an adult male walk to his vehicle from the roadside and get into the driver’s seat. Officer stopped to check on the driver and noticed signs of impairment. Officer had the male perform SFST ’s and placed the male under arrest for DWI. 07.09.21—07.15.21
