06 11 21 JTF 1 THEFT — 13XX ACACIA BLVD 06/03/21, 1147 HOURS Officers called to the 1300 block of Acacia Blvd for a theft from motor vehicle report. On scene Officers found an additional vehicle that was broken into and the direction of a possible suspect. The suspect was not located. Security footage was obtained from local stores where stolen cards were used. Forward to investigations. THEFT — 11XX IVY HILL DRIVE 6/03/21, 1852 HOURS At an unknown time and place, a license plate for a resident of Mendota Heights was stolen. Plate was entered as stolen. TRAFFICE STOP/DWI — HWY 13 06/05/21, 0139 HOURS Officer was on routine patrol traveling westbound Highway 62/Highway 13. Officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation and it had an equipment violation. Officer stopped the vehicle and identified the adult male driver. While speaking with the driver, the officer believed the driver was under the influence. The driver refused testing and was placed under arrest. The driver was transported to the Dakota County Jail where he was booked and released on DWI charges. MEDICAL — 16XX CELIA ROAD 06/06/21, 0909 HOURS Officers responded to a medical near the 1600 block of Celia Rd. Patient was said to be overdosing on an unknown substance. Officers arrived and administered two doses of Narcan. Patient came to consciousness, was evaluated and transported to the hospital. Report only. AOA/POSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY — 35E NB 06/07/21, 0400 HOURS Officers responded to assist Richfield and State Patrol on a pursuit which was heading into Mendota Heights. Pursuing officers discontinued near 494 and Pilot Knob Rd and officers checked the area. On 35E north at Wagon Wheel Trail officers located the vehicle crashed in the woods. Officer, with the assistance of a K9, tracked the suspect and arrested the suspected driver. CRISIS/MENTAL HEALTH— 13XX NORTHLAND DRIVE 06/07/21, 0750 HOURS Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Northland Drive for a recreational fire complaint. Officers arrived and determined the person was experiencing a mental health crisis and requested medics for an evaluation. Patient was transported to the hospital for the evaluation. A small fire was extinguished by the fire department. 06.04.21—06.10.21 2 HARASSMENT — 21XX HWY 13 06/07/21, 1144 HOURS Officer was dispatched to an harassment call at the Mendota Heights PD. The reporting party stated that his ex-girlfriend had put a GPS tracking device in their child's diaper bag. He stated that he has an HRO against the ex-girlfriend as of a couple of weeks ago. Officer gathered information from the reporting party. Officer contacted the ex-girlfriend. Officer wrote report. CRISIS/MENTAL HEALTH — LEXINGTON AVE 06/07/21, 1203 HOURS Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Lexington Avenue on a suspicious activity call. The reporting party was reporting being hunted by people in vehicles following her. Officers located the female on Medallion Drive and observed no vehicles or people who she claimed to be following her. MHealth was called and transported patient to the hospital for an evaluation. CIVIL — 12XX LAKEVIEW AVE 06/07/21, 1454 HOURS Officer took a report regarding potential animal neglect from the 1200 block of Lakeview Ave. Family mem- bers reported that another is mentally ill and was not taking care of pets, and refusied to give them up to family. After investigation it was determined there was no evidence of a crime. Info only. CRISIS/MENTAL HEALTH — SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 06/07/21, 2321 HOURS Officers were dispatched to Hwy 13 and Wachtler for a report of a male who was walking into traffic, and was believed to be impaired on a controlled substance. Officers spoke with the male and determined that he needed to go to the hospital for an evaluation. The male refused and was placed on a hold to be transported. Report as information only. CRISIS/MENTAL HEALTH/WARRANTS — 20XX MENDAKOTA DRIVE 06/08/21, 1536 HOURS Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Mendakota Drive for a report of suspicious activity. Caller reported two females looking through cars in the parking lot. Officers located the individuals and discovered one of the females had a warrant from Ramsey county. The female was placed under arrest and later suffered a medical emergency. MHealth transported the female to the hospital for an evaluation. The second female was released from the scene. The vehicle they arrived in was impounded. TRAFFIC STOP/DRUGS — 494 EB 06/09/21, 0218 HOURS Officers stopped a vehicle for weaving over the lane and fog line. Officers smelled the odor of unburnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. Upon search of the vehicle, officers located a large amount of marijuana, large amount of cash, and packaging for individual sale of marijuana. 06.04.21—06.10.21 3 PD ACCIDENT — 18XX DELAWARE AVE 06/09/21, 0824 HOURS Officer was called to the 1800 block of Delaware Avenue for a reported two vehicle accident with no in- juries. On scene, all information was gathered and a report was completed. The case is inactive. THEFT — 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 06/09/21, 1257 HOURS Passerby reported seeing a male removing vehicle license plates, wrapping them up, and leaving the area. Officer located the suspect and vehicle. The male was in the process of leaving a local gas station, saw the squad, and returned to park. It was discovered that the male pumped gas, had no money, and was stealing gas. Suspect identified and issued a citation. AOA — 12XX STASSEN LANE 06/09/21, 2059 HOURS Mendota Heights officers responded to assist West St. Paul on a weapons call at Thompson County Park. Officers assisted with taking statements. Clear with report. TRAFFIC STOP — ANNAPOLIS STREET 06/10/21, 1412 HOURS Officer tried to perform a traffic stop on a speeding motorist. The driver continued to drive without yielding as he drove into St. Paul. When the vehicle stopped, the driver was detained while his story was confirmed.
