DWI — LEXINGTON AVE/MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 05/15/21, 2318 HOURS
Officer heard State Patrol dispatch an air driving complaint of a vehicle that registered in Mendota Heights.
Officer located vehicle and upon investigation was able to determine the driver was under the influence.
Driver submitted to a breath test and was transported to Dakota County Jail.
HIT & RUN — 5XX HIAWATHA AVE 05/16/21, 0608 HOURS
Officer took a report of an after the fact hit and run accident at the 500 block of Hiawatha Ave. Caller
reported that his vehicle had damage caused by another vehicle, which left the scene, and they had a video
of it happening. Suspect believed to be a newspaper delivery driver. Investigation ongoing.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 13XX ASPEN WAY 05/17/21, 0723 HOURS
Responded to the 1300 block of Aspen Way on a report of Motor Vehicle Tampering and Theft from Motor
Vehicle. No suspects or evidence.
THEFT — 11XX NORTHLAND DR 05/17/21, 0748 HOURS
Responded to a reported theft in the 1100 block of Northland Drive that happened over the weekend.
Reporting party stated that approximately 120 wooden pallets were stolen. No suspects or evidence.
THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 5XX FOXWOOD LN 05/17/21, 0924 HOURS
Responded to a report of a damage to and theft from motor vehicle in the 500 block of Foxwood Lane that
happened overnight. The rear passenger window was broken out with contents inside the vehicle stolen.
No suspects or evidence.
RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 05/17/21, 2334 HOURS
Officer conducted a DVS search of license plate at a local hotel. DVS alerted that the vehicle was stolen out
of Iowa. Officers recovered the vehicle and it was towed.
DOG BITE — 9XX WINSTON CI 05/18/21, 0906 HOURS
Reporting party stated their daughter got bit by the neighbor ’s dog causing a laceration requiring stitches.
The dog owner was advised to quarantine the dog and it was labeled as Potentially Dangerous by MN State
Law.
FRAUD — 1XXX DAKOTA DR 05/18/21, 1004 HOURS
Officer took a fraud report from the 1000 block of Dakota Dr. Party had a fraudulent check cashed with a
different person’s information on it. Officer contacted the second party over the phone and it was
determined that they were not involved. No other suspects known. Case inactive.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 13XX DODD RD 05/19/21, 1448 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to a report of damage to property. The reporting party did not want anything done
other than to document the damage for her insurance company.
THEFT — 1XXX DAKOTA DR 05/19/21, 1505 HOURS
Officer responded to a theft of a license plate report. Plates were entered as stolen. No suspects.
THEFT — COMMERCE DR/PILOT KNOB RD 05/20/21, 0849 HOURS
Officer was called to a parking lot for a reported theft that had taken place overnight. Construction
equipment was stolen. Case under investigation.
VEHICLE THEFT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 05/20/21, 1359 HOURS
Officers responded to location on a vehicle theft. Reporting party stated an acquaintance stole her vehicle
and she couldn’t get a hold of him. Vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen. On 5/21/21, Bloomington PD
recovered the stolen vehicle unoccupied. The vehicle was towed and the owner was notified.
