FLEEING — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 05/01/21, 2222 HOURS
Officer checked a license plate of a vehicle parked at a business in the 1300 block of Northland Drive. State
records indicated the vehicle was listed as stolen. Officers conducted a high -risk traffic stop on the vehicle,
however the driver fled at a high rate of speed through the parking lot. Officers did not engage in pursuing
the suspect vehicle. Surrounding jurisdictions were advised of the fleeing vehicle. Suspect information is
not known at this time.
DWI — 494/PILOT KNOB RD 05/03/21, 0020 HOURS
Officer was traveling westbound I-494/I-35E on routine patrol. Officer observed a vehicle in the far left lane
that failed to maintain its lane. Officer stopped the vehicle and while speaking with the adult male driver,
officer had reason to believe the driver was under the influence. Officer had the driver step out of the
vehicle to perform Standard Field Sobriety Tests. Based on the results, the officer placed the driver under
arrest for DWI. The driver was later released to a sober party.
IDENTITY THEFT — 22XX COPPERFIELD DR 05/03/21, 1140 HOURS
Resident from Copperfield Dr called to report identity theft. An unknown person gained the victim ’s
personal information and opened a bank account that was not authorized. There has been no financial loss,
the bank account has been closed.
THEFT — 7XX STANWICH LN 05/03/21, 1431 HOURS
Resident reported checks were stolen from the outgoing mail and later used to purchase merchandise.
There were five transactions at four different locations. The account has been closed. Case under
investigation.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON — 9XX HIGHVIEW CIR 05/03/21, 2034 HOURS
Resident reported a suspicious person that looked into their closed garage windows. Person was gone on
arrival.
TRAFFIC STOP — LEXINGTON/HWY 62 05/04/21, 0407 HOURS
Officer was on routine patrol traveling southbound on Lexington Avenue/Highway 62. Officer observed a
vehicle traveling northbound on the same road with equipment violations and expired registration. Officer
observed the vehicle to have a registration sticker on the license plates that did not belong to the vehicle.
Officer removed the license plates from the vehicle and informed the adult male owner of pending charges
via mail.
IDENTITY THEFT — 19XX CROWN POINTE DR 05/05/21, 1659 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to location on a report of identity theft. Resident stated that three different
accounts were attempted to be opened using his identity.

DWI — HWY 62/LEXINGTON AVE 05/06/21, 0048 HOURS
Officer initiated a traffic stop for a speed violation on southbound I-35E and Hwy 13. While speaking with
the driver, the officer observed signs of impairment and conducted a field sobriety test. Driver was
determined to be over the legal limit and placed under arrest. Driver was booked and released with citation
from the Dakota County Jail. Vehicle was impounded to Marks Towing.
MEDICAL — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 05/06/21, 0203 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of Northland Drive on an unknown medical call. A 911 caller
requested an ambulance respond but gave no further information then hung up. Officers arrived and
located an elderly female in the back seat of a vehicle who was experiencing an overdose. Medics
responded and she was transported to the hospital.
THEFT — 7XX DECORAH LN 05/06/21, 1538 HOURS
Officer was dispatched to location on a report of a license plate theft. There are no suspects.
