02 19 21 JTF 1 DANCO VIOLATION — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 02/12/21, 1813 HOURS Officers responded to a phone call report of a violation of a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order via phone and text. The reporting party stated they were contacted by the respondent in the DANCO. A KOPS alert was issued for the respondent and charges were forwarded to the city attorney. DWI — 16XX LILYDALE RD 02/12/21, 2225 HOURS Officers responded to the 1600 block of Lilydale Rd on reports of a vehicle that crashed into a train bridge. Upon arrival officers located the vehicle and detected signs of impairment. Officers conducted field sobriety tests and arrested the driver for DWI. The driver was booked for DWI. PI ACCIDENT/DWI — 20XX PILOT KNOB RD 02/14/21, 0850 HOURS Officers responded to a single vehicle rollover crash at the entrance to 20XX Pilot Knob. Three occupants were out of the car, the driver was injured. Medics did a preliminary check but ultimately the driver refused treatment. The driver was taken into custody for DWI. Officers applied for and received a signed search warrant for a blood draw. Suspect submitted to the blood draw and was released to a valid driver pending the results. DANCO VIOLATION — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 02/14/21, 2142 HOURS Officer received a report of a DANCO violation on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Officers located the adult male suspect and placed him under arrest. The suspect was transported to the Dakota County Jail. FRAUD — 21XX DELAWARE AVE 02/15/21, 0906 HOURS Officer took a fraud report from the 2100 block of Delaware Ave. The caller received notification from the MN unemployment office requesting information about the unemployment benefits that they had applied for. They hadn't applied for any, so they believed that their identity was stolen. They suspected that their mail was stolen sometime last week by an unknown person. Proper authorities were notified. Case inactive. THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE — 7XX HWY 62 02/15/21, 1822 HOURS Officer dispatched to a stolen vehicle report at the 700 block of Hwy 62. The reporting party stated that her vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot. Officer reviewed security footage and found that the suspect parked another vehicle in the lot and then stole the reporting party's vehicle. The other vehicle was found to be stolen. Officer gathered additional information and wrote report. THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE — 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 02/15/21, 1943 HOURS Officer dispatched to a theft of a vehicle at the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy. The reporting party stated that he got out of his vehicle and went inside the store to ask his girlfriend something and then saw his vehicle driving away. Officer gathered information and wrote report. Staff is working on getting PD their security footage. 02.12.21—02.18.21 2 DOMESTIC ASSAULT — 16XX DODD RD 02/16/21, 0233 HOURS Officers received a report of a domestic argument on the 1600 block of Dodd Road. Officers spoke with the adult male and female parties. Officers learned that during the argument, the female retrieved a weapon and used it in a threatening manner. Officers arrested the female and she was transported to the Dakota County Jail. PURSUIT — 12XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 02/16/21, 1710 HOURS Officer dispatched to a business to check for a stolen vehicle. Driver noticed officer and fled in the vehicle. Vehicle not located. THEFT — 7XX N PLAZA DR 02/16/21, 1912 HOURS Officer responded to a business in the 700 block of N Plaza Drive to investigate a report of a theft of merchandise. Information was gathered and security video obtained. Case inactive pending positive identification of suspect. PI ACCIDENT — 35E/HWY 62 02/17/21, 2002 HOURS Officers responded to location on a report of a vehicle rollover accident with injuries. Officer arrived on scene to a vehicle on its side. The driver was seriously injured and unconscious. Driver was extracted by EMS and Fire/Rescue. State Patrol took over incident. DISTURBING THE PEACE — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 02/18/21, 0113 HOURS Officer responded to a report of people verbally arguing in the parking lot. Upon further investigation it was determined that no crime has been committed. Male was trespassed from the property. THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 02/18/21, 1717 HOURS Officer responded to location on a report of a theft from an unlocked vehicle. Officers determined what was stolen. No suspects at this time. TRAFFIC STOP/WARRANT — HWY 55/LEXINGTON AVE 02/18/21, 1959 HOURS Officer conducted a random license plate check where the registered owner returned with a misdemeanor warrant. The warrant was confirmed and the male was transported to Dakota County Jail. DWI — 35E/HWY 62 02/18/21, 2315 HOURS Officer observed a vehicle off the roadway on the ramp from northbound I-35E to Hwy 62. Officer observed the driver exhibiting signs of impairment and conducted a field sobriety test. It was determined the driver was over the legal limit and placed under arrest. Passengers were transported to a nearby address and released. The vehicle was impounded to Marks Towing. Driver was ultimately transported and booked into the Dakota County Jail for Third Degree Gross Misdemeanor DWI -Test Refusal and other related charges. 02.12.21—02.18.21
