12 11 20 JTF 1 INTENT TO ESCAPE VEHICLE TAX — 35E/WAGON WHEEL TR 12/04/20, 2148 HOURS Officer conducted a traffic stop at 35E and Wagon Wheel Tr for lane line violations. Officer discovered the vehicle’s registration was almost two years expired. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was picked up by a family member. Case referred to city attorney for charging. TRAFFIC STOP/LIQUOR POSSESSION — DELAWARE AVE/BEEBE AVE 12/04/20, 2325 HOURS Officer stopped a vehicle for expired registration at Delaware Ave and Beebe Ave. The vehicle was searched due to the smell of marijuana. Marijuana, paraphernalia, and alcohol was recovered in the vehicle. The driver was cited for possession of alcohol. THEFT — 1XXX HWY 62 12/05/20, 2116 HOURS Officers dispatched to a theft at Speedway on the 1000 block of Highway 62. Dispatch advised that a male suspect stole a 12 pack of beer and left in a light blue sedan. The license plate provided by the adult male reporting party did not match. Officers checked the area and were not able to locate the vehicle. Adult male reporting party will follow up with management to try to obtain video footage. SUSPICIOUS PERSON — 8XX DEER TRAIL POINT 12/07/20, 0739 HOURS Officer received a report of a suspicious person on the 800 block of Deer Trail Point. The reporting party has video of a male suspect attempting to gain access to the reporting party's vehicle. The suspect was unable to get in and left the area. THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 13XX FARMDALE RD 12/07/20, 1458 HOURS Officer dispatched to a theft of motor vehicle report from the 1300 block of Farmdale Rd. The reporting party stated that a GPS unit was stolen from his vehicle overnight. There were several other motor vehicle tampering in the area that night. Video surveillance was captured. Under investigation. THEFT — 14XX NORTHLAND DR 12/07/20, 1813 HOURS Complainant reported the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle while at work in the 1400 block of Northland Dr. The incident occurred between 8AM and 6PM on 12/7. No witnesses or suspects. IDENTITY THEFT — 22XX ROGERS COURT 12/08/20, 0951 HOURS Officer received a report of identity theft on the 2200 block of Rogers Court. Officer spoke with the adult male victim who stated someone attempted to open up a credit account in California. The suspect was unsuccessful and there was no financial loss. TRESPASSING — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 12/09/20, 0948 HOURS Officers responded to the report of a guest that would not leave a business on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. The guest ultimately left the scene and was verbally trespassed. 12.04.20—12.10.20
