10 09 20 JTF 1 WARRANT ARREST — MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD/HUBER DR 10/02/20, 1147 HOURS Officer was called to the area of Mendota Heights Road and Huber Drive to check on a male party. Party was located and found to have a warrant and drugs on his person. He was arrested and transferred to Washington County. DWI — 24XX HWY 55 10/03/20, 0153 HOURS Officer was dispatched to a driving complaint on the Mendota Heights bridge. Officer located the vehicle on Mendota Heights Road and Hwy 55. Officer conducted a field sobriety test on the driver and he was determined to be over the legal limit. The vehicle was impounded for forfeiture. The driver was arrested and booked into Dakota County Jail. MENTAL HEALTH — 1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 10/03/20, 0619 HOURS Officers received a report of an adult male having a mental health crisis on the 1000 block of Sibley Memorial Highway. Officers spoke with the adult male and an adult female and determined nothing criminal occurred. The adult male was voluntarily transported to the hospital via ambulance. VANDALISM — 18XX DELAWARE AVE 10/03/20, 1314 HOURS Officer received a report of vandalism on the 1800 block of Delaware Avenue. Officer observed grass to be spray painted with the name "TRUMP" in big red letters. There are no suspects at this time. DWI — 24XX STOCKBRIDGE RD 10/04/20, 1430 HOURS Officers responded to the 2400 block of Stockbridge road on the report of an intoxicated party that had arrived with damage to their vehicle. The party was ultimately transported to the hospital, where a search warrant was executed to obtain a blood sample. What was crashed into is still under investigation. TRAFFIC STOP/WARRANT ARREST — 35E/WAGON WHEEL TR 10/05/20, 2345 HOURS Officer conducted traffic stop on 35E/Wagon Wheel Trail. Upon identifying driver, officer learned that the driver had a felony warrant issued by the Department of Corrections. Male was transported to Dakota County Jail. Cleared by Felony Arrest. TRAFFIC STOP/IPS — 35E/SHEPARD RD 10/06/20, 0439 HOURS Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at 35E and Shepard Rd. Driver was driving on a cancelled IPS license status. Driver was arrested and transported to Dakota County Jail. THEFT FROM VEHICLE — 13XX ACACIA DR 10/06/20, 1002 HOURS Caller reported a purse stolen from a vehicle while parked in the 1300 block of Acacia Dr. Credit cards were used at a local business. Follow up and investigation ongoing. AOA/RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 10/06/20, 1115 HOURS Officer was on routine patrol and conducted a license plate check of a parked vehicle on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Officer learned the vehicle was stolen out of Minneapolis. The vehicle was towed to later be picked up by the owner. 10.02.20—10.08.20 2 THEFT — 24XX CANTON CT 10/06/20, 1603 HOURS Officer dispatched to a theft call at the 2400 block of Canton Ct. The reporting party stated that his signs were stolen from his yard. He advised that his neighbor was able to get a description of the suspects and photos. Officer gathered information from reporting party. Officer contacted neighbor/witness and gathered information. Investigation ongoing. DISTURBANCE — HWY 62/DODD RD 10/06/20, 2020 HOURS Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic disturbance between a male and a female in the area of Hwy 62 and Dodd Rd. The female half of the disturbance was located in the area but the male was gone on arrival. The female refused to give the correct information for the male and refused any help from police. HIT & RUN ACCIDENT — HWY 62/LEXINGTON AVE 10/07/20, 0945 HOURS Officers were dispatched to the area for a reported hit and run. The reporting party recorded the suspect ’s license plate and contact was made with the registered owner. Case forwarded for charging. SUSPICIOUS PERSON — 2XXX MENDAKOTA DR 10/07/20, 1541 HOURS Officers responded to location on reports of a past action suspicion where a female was seen going through cars on camera. A license plate on the suspect vehicle was identified but it returned as stolen. The vehicle description on the plate did not match the suspect ’s vehicle. TAMPER WITH MOTOR VEHICLE — 7XX S PLAZA DR 10/07/20, 2300 HOURS Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of South Plaza Drive for a report of vehicle broken into. A window was broken out of the vehicle and the vehicle was gone through. There was nothing missing from inside the vehicle. Case inactive due to low solvability. HARASSING COMMUNICATION — 15XX VICTORIA RD 10/08/20, 1105 HOURS Officer received a call from reporting party who stated a male was harassing him via US mail and telephone. Contact was made with the suspect, who was advised to have no contact with the reporting party. WELFARE CHECK — 18XX DELAWARE AVE 10/08/20, 2009 HOURS Officers took a report of a welfare check on an individual who had threatened to harm himself over social media. Officers were able to identify him and responded to his house to check on his welfare. Subject was found to be ok and left in the care of his parents. 10.02.20—10.08.20
