10 02 20 JTF 1 CHECK WELFARE — 1XXX SYLVANDALE RD 9/25/20, 1237 HOURS A psychologist called for officers to check the welfare of one of his patients when he didn't arrive for his appointment. On scene, officers found that the man's house was unlivable. It was clear that the man could not care for himself. It was determined that he was currently in the hospital after an accident. Report forwarded to social services. HARASSING COMMUNICATION — 24XX CANTON CT 9/25/20, 1438 HOURS Officer was dispatched to location in reference to a harassing communication report. It was learned that threatening text messages were being exchanged between three parties. Case under investigation. THEFT — 7XX NORTH PLAZA DR 9/26/20, 2208 HOURS Officer was dispatched to the 700 block of North Plaza Drive on a report of theft. The suspect stole the victim’s phone while she was working. Under investigation. DWI — 35E/HWY 13 9/26/20, 2308 HOURS Officer observed a vehicle driving recklessly near Highway 13 and 35E. The officer conducted a traffic stop and observed clues of impairment. SFST's were conducted and the driver was placed under arrest for DWI. Driver was booked and released at Dakota County Jail. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 12XX SYLVANDALE RD 9/27/20, 2020 HOURS Officer received a report of political signs that were damaged on the 1200 block of Sylvandale Road. There are no suspects at this time. THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 16XX LILAC LN 9/28/20, 0737 HOURS Officer received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle on the 1600 block of Lilac Lane. The victim's ID and credit and debit cards were taken and used at multiple locations. There are no suspects at this time. This incident is under investigation. DAC/IPS — 7 7TH ST, HASTINGS 9/28/20, 1258 HOURS While working a Towards Zero Death detail in Hastings, officer conducted a random license plate check on a vehicle and the registered owner returned with a canceled license inimical to public safety. Vehicle was stopped, driver identified and arrested. OFP NOTIFICATION — 1XXX WAGON WHEEL TR 9/28/20, 1622 HOURS Officer stopped out with a driver who had an unserved order for protection on the 1000 block of Wagon Wheel Trail. Officer identified the driver and served him the order for protection without incident. RECOVERED STOLEN — E ST/3RD ST 9/28/20, 2130 HOURS Officer was dispatched to the intersection of E Street and 3rd Street on a report of a parking violation. Upon arrival, officer learned vehicle was stolen out of St. Paul. THEFT — 1XXX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 9/30/20, 0906 HOURS Building manager stated that the law enforcement lock box and key had been broken off the wall and stolen. There are no cameras or witnesses. The lockbox and keys will be replaced. 09.25.20—10.01.20 2 IMPOUND — 16XX DODD RD 10/01/20, 1657 HOURS Near the intersection of Dodd Road and Wagon Wheel Trail, officers were assisting West St Paul Police and determined that the plates for the suspect vehicle were suspended for a DWI and needed to be impounded. The vehicle was parked on private property so officers had the owner surrender the plates to them. 09.25.20—10.01.20
