07 31 20 JTF 1 BURGLARY/DAMAGE TO PROPERTY – 13XX RIVERSIDE LN 07/24/20, 0957 HOURS Officer received a report of damage to property on a few rental property mailboxes. The property manager stated three mailboxes had been broken into and damaged. It is unsure if anything was stolen. No suspects at this time. DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 13XX NORTHLAND DR 07/25/20, 1541 HOURS Officers responded to the 1300 block of Northland Dr on reports of a past action disturbance at a hotel. Upon arrival officers spoke with the manager who stated that a male had become angry at him and his staff when he was advised his hotel room had been moved to Bloomington. The male acted in such a manner that his conduct caused the staff to become fearful. The male had left prior to arrival. The male was contacted and inevitably issued a citation for disorderly conduct. WARRANT ARREST – 18XX SUMMIT LN 07/25/20, 1714 HOURS Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Summit Ln on reports of a person going door to door selling products. Upon arrival the male was located and showed a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and transported to Ramsey County. SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 7XX PLAZA DR 07/25/20, 1839 HOURS While patrolling the area of the 700 block of North Plaza Drive, a person ran on foot from officers. Officers pursued the male and caught him near the intersection of Dodd Rd and Hwy 62. Upon further investigation officers determined that the male has done this in the past to officers and finds enjoyment from it. The male was released to family members who were waiting in a vehicle. ASSAULT – 21XX LEXINGTON AVE 07/26/20, 0303 HOURS Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang up near Center Pointe Curve. While enroute, it was upgraded to an assault. The male suspect struck a male in the head leaving a laceration. The suspect fled on foot. Male victim declined medical treatment. Under investigation. DWI – 35E/WAGON WHEEL TR 07/26/20, 2358 HOURS While patrolling the area of Hwy 35E and Hwy 13, officers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Officers followed the vehicle and observed it swerving over its lane lines. Officers stopped the vehicle and through investigation determined that the driver was impaired. Driver was arrested and booked into the Dakota County Jail. TRESPASSING – 8XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 07/27/20, 0918 HOURS Responded to the 800 Block of Sibley Memorial Highway on a report of a person on the roof. The subject was identified, issued a trespass warning and was allowed to leave. 07.24.20—7.30.20 2 DRUNKENESS – 13XX NORTHLAND DR 07/27/20, 2133 HOURS Officers dispatched to the 1300 block of Northland Drive on a report of a male possibly masturbating outside. Officers made contact with the adult female reporting party who said that she thought that the adult male suspect was either urinating or masturbating. The reporting party never actually saw the male with his private area exposed. Officers made contact with the adult male suspect who was heavily intoxicated. Adult male suspect was unable to care for himself and had nowhere else to go. Male was verbally trespassed by a hotel staff member and male was transported to the hospital on a hold. WEAPON/DRUGS/DUI – 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 07/28/20, 1612 HOURS Officer received a report of a driving complaint on I-35E Northbound and Highway 13. Officer located a vehicle parked at a service station. Officer located subject and determined them to be under the influence. Officers searched vehicle and located drug paraphernalia and a weapon. Subject was arrested and transported to Dakota County Jail. THEFT – 12XX NORTHLAND DR 07/28/20, 1947 HOURS Officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of Northland Dr to take a report of a catalytic converter theft. No suspects at this time. THEFT – 7XX NORTH PLAZA DR 07/28/20, 2205 HOURS Officers were dispatched to a theft in progress at a business on the 700 block of Highway 62. Suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving on scene. Investigation pending review of security footage. MOTORIST ASSIST/DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – HWY 62/I-35E 07/28/20, 2223 HOURS Officer conducted a motorist assist on Hwy 62 and I-35E for a vehicle parked with its hazards on. Officers noticed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and searched the vehicle. The driver was issued a citation and sent on his way. FRAUD – 23XX DODD RD 07/29/20, 1000 HOURS Officers took a report of a credit card theft that occurred in the 2300 Block of Dodd Road. Incident under investigation. VEHICLE REPOSSESSION – 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 07/29/20, 1422 HOURS Officer was requested to call a woman living near the 2300 block of Lexington Avenue in reference to a suspected theft of her vehicle. The vehicle was listed as stolen through dispatch after all information was collected. Security footage was requested from the facility. Reporting party called back to say her vehicle was repossessed. Vehicle was removed as stolen. THEFT – 18XX SUMMIT LN 07/30/20, 1007 HOURS Officer responded to the 1800 block of Summit Ln on a report of mail theft. Case under investigation. 07.24.20—7.30.20
