07 24 20 JTF 1 UNDERAGE CONSUMPTION– 18XX DELAWARE AVE 07/16/20, 2314 HOURS Officer located a suspicious vehicle in the Henry Sibley parking lot. There were six minors in the vehicle, along with open cases of beer. Five of them were cited for consuming alcohol and three were also cited for providing a false name to police. Minors were released to their parents with citations. Case status clear with citations. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 10XX WAGON WHEEL TRAIL 07/17/20, 0658 HOURS Officer took a report of vandalism on the 1000 block of Wagon Wheel Trail. Garbage cans and portable bathroom tipped over. BURGLARY — 5XX EMERSON AVE 07/17/20, 1500 HOURS Resident on the 500 block of Emerson Avenue reported two bicycles were stolen out of his garage. A possible suspect has been identified. This case will be forwarded to investigations. Case is active pending further investigation. SUSPICIOUS PERSON — 11XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 07/17/20, 1415 HOURS Officers responded to the lobby of the Police Department on reports of a suspicious person who had come into their driveway a few times. The male would take pictures of their house and leave. A second visit by the male was made where he reportedly made derogatory comments to the child of the homeowner. A report was written and the investigation is ongoing. DWI — HWY 62 07/17/20, 2309 HOURS Officer observed a vehicle eastbound on Highway 62, approaching Delaware. Vehicle had a difficult time maintaining its lane. Officer stopped the vehicle and suspected the driver was impaired. The driver failed Standard Field Sobriety Tests and refused to give a PBT sample through conduct. Driver was placed under arrest and claimed his arm was injured while being cuffed. Driver was seen by medics and transported to Regions Hospital. A blood draw search warrant was served at the hospital and the driver was released from custody. Charges are pending test results. PUBLIC ASSIST — 9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 07/18/20, 0944 HOURS Officer called to the 900 block of Sibley Memorial Highway in reference to damage that had been done at a car wash. Suspect information was obtained and the suspect was contacted. The suspect confirmed the damage and explained that it had been an accident and that she had notified the on-duty employee right away. No charges. Information only. THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 16XX LILYDALE ROAD 07/18/20, 2008 HOURS Officer dispatched to a theft from motor vehicle at the 1600 block of Lilydale Rd. The reporting party advised that she parked her vehicle in the trail parking lot and her bag was taken from the vehicle. Officer gathered information and wrote report. 07.17.20—7.23.20 2 ANIMAL CALL – 12XX CENTRE POINTE CURVE 07/20/20, 0633 HOURS Dispatched to the 1200 block of Centre Pointe Curve for a dog running loose in the parking lot. Small dog was located and ultimately transported to the South St. Paul Animal Hospital. Dog was scanned for a chip but none was found. THEFT — 16XX LILYDALE ROAD 07/20/20, 0830 HOURS Caller reported items stolen from a vehicle while parked in the 1600 block of Lilydale Rd. Vehicle was damaged and items inside stolen. No suspects or witnesses. TERRORISTIC THREATS — 7XX HWY 62 07/20/20, 1106 HOURS Dispatched to the 700 block of Hwy 62 on a disturbance. Male entered the store and yelled threats at em- ployees, left without paying for water. Subject located, arrested, and brought to jail. CIVIL ASSIST — 23XX DODD ROAD 07/21/20, 1416 HOURS Assigned to investigate MAARC report. Elderly male party willingly and knowingly provided money as loans over the course of eleven months. Nothing criminal found, advised on how to proceed with civil action to recoup money. CIVIL/INFO — 20XX DODD ROAD 07/21/20 1630 HOURS Officers dispatched to a theft in progress call at the 2000 block of Dodd Rd. The caller advised that someone in the parking lot was yelling at a vehicle and stated that the person in the vehicle had his wallet. The vehicle left the scene and officers were able to locate it and stop the vehicle. Officers gathered infor- mation and found that the incident was a civil.
