05 22 20 JTF 1 DAC/IPS/OPEN BOTTLE — 1XXX DAKOTA DR 05/15/20, 0136 HOURS Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for suspicious activity on the 100 block of Dakota Drive. It was determined the driver's license was cancelled and deemed Inimical to Public Safety. The driver also had an open bottle of alcohol in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and booked and released from the Dakota County Jail. The vehicle was impounded to Marks Towing. IDENTITY THEFT — 6XX CHEYENNE LN 05/15/20, 1340 HOURS Dispatched to contact complainant who lives in the 600 block of Cheyenne Lane who reported that her identity was used to apply for Minnesota Unemployment benefits. Application was not processed and no benefits were granted. No suspect information. THEFT — 1XXX WAGON WHEEL TR 05/15/20, 2134 HOURS Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of Wagon Wheel Trail for a report of a theft. A wallet and car keys were taken. No suspects, case inactive. THEFT — 6XX HIDDEN CREEK TR 05/18/20, 1322 HOURS Resident in the 600 block of Hidden Creek Tr called to report a theft of license plates from an unknown location sometime between 10-26-19 and 5-12-20. No suspects. POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS DOG — 2XXX PATRICIA ST 05/18/20, 1708 HOURS Responded to the 2000 block of Patricia Street on a report of a dog running at large, approached a person in a manner of attack and caused the reporting party to be in fear of harm. Dog located and will be declared Potentially Dangerous. POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS DOG — 6XX MULBERRY LN 05/19/20, 1159 HOURS Responded to the 600 block of Mulberry Ln on a report of a dog running at large and approaching a person in a manner of attack. Dog and owner identified. Dog was declared potentially dangerous. Report filed for future reference. THEFT — 15XX COMMERCE DR 05/21/20, 0950 HOURS A phone call was requested of officers to report the theft of tools out of the bed of a work truck parked near the 1500 block of Commerce Drive. All information was collected and a report was completed. The case is inactive. TAX EVASION — LEXINGTON AVE/DAKOTA DR 05/21/20, 1858 HOURS Officer stopped a vehicle at Lexington Ave and Dakota Dr for expired registration. Vehicle registration expired June 2018, driver was suspended, and there was no insurance on the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and driver was released pending tax evasion charges. 05.15.20—5.21.20
