05 08 20 JTF 1 VEHICLE THEFT — 18XX DELAWARE AVE 05/01/20, 0332 HOURS Responded to the 1800 block of Delaware Avenue on a report of a construction vehicle that was stolen overnight. Vehicle was entered into NCIC as a stolen vehicle. No suspects or evidence. DAC-IPS — HWY 62/LEXINGTON AVE 05/01/20, 0658 HOURS Routine license plate checks revealed the registered owner of a vehicle to have driver's license status of Cancelled—Inimical to Public Safety. Traffic stop made and the driver was the owner. Arrested and later released pending formal charges. Vehicle towed. ADULT PROTECTION — 13XX 3RD ST 05/01/20, 1604 HOURS Officers took a Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center report which occurred on the 1300 block of 3rd St in Mendota. Victim reported that she was assaulted by staff at her group home and had been neglected by other staff. Sent for charging. MINOR CONSUMPTION — 13XX CHERRY HILL RD 05/02/20, 2140 HOURS Officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of Cherry Hill Road on a report of a male who attempted to enter the caller’s home. Officer searched the area and observed a gathering of individuals at the house next door. Officer attempted to contact the group, however all individuals fled on foot. Officer spoke with one male who was determined to be under age the age of 21 and under the influence. Male was cited and released to a sober adult. THEFT — 16XX LILYDALE RD 05/03/20, 2028 HOURS Officers responded to a theft from vehicle on the 1600 block of Lilydale Rd. Vehicle had a window broken and a jacket was taken from the vehicle. A black Yukon style vehicle with a loud exhaust was seen leaving the area and is believed to be related. No suspects. THEFT — 16XX LILYDALE RD 05/03/20, 2043 HOURS Officers responded to a theft from vehicle on the 1600 block of Lilydale Rd. Vehicle had a window broken and a bag with a tablet was taken from the vehicle. A black Yukon style vehicle with a loud exhaust was seen leaving the area and is believed to be related. No suspects. DOG BITE — 13XX ACACIA BLVD 05/05/20, 1248 HOURS Responded to a report of a potentially dangerous dog incident that happened at the Mendota Heights Off-Leash Dog Park. Case is under investigation. DISTURBANCE/TRESPASS — 1XXX HWY 110 05/05/20, 1301 HOURS Officer dispatched to the 1000 block of Highway 110 on a disturbance. Adult male reporting party stated that a former adult female employee was refusing to leave. Officer arrived on scene, escorted female out and detained female. Adult female was released and issued a trespass notice. 05.01.20—5.07.20 2 DRUGS — 7XX HWY 62 05/06/20, 0210 HOURS Officer stopped out with a suspicious vehicle on the 700 block of Highway 62.The odor of marijuana was detected and the vehicle was searched. Residue of suspected smoked Percocet was found inside the vehicle. The driver was released and case will be forwarded for charging. THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 21XX DODD RD 05/06/20, 1327 HOURS Responded to the 2100 block of Dodd Road on a report of a theft from motor vehicle that happened a day ago. No suspects or evidence. MAIL THEFT — 7XX WOODRIDGE DR 05/06/20, 1414 HOURS Officers were called by a resident in reference to a check that had been stolen from her mailbox. The caller was given instructions on how to stop payment and have her next payment direct deposited into her account. It was determined that the IRS envelope was not theirs and their tax return was still being processed. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 05/06/20, 1515 HOURS Officer dispatched to a damage to property call on the 1300 block of Northland Dr. The reporting party stated that someone the previous night damaged multiple window screens and possibly attempted to get inside. Officer gathered information and took photos of the damage. THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE — 6XX SUNSET LN 05/06/20, 1620 HOURS Resident on the 600 block of Sunset Lane noticed their vehicles had been gone through overnight. A pistol was reported stolen from one of the vehicles. There are no suspects at this time. DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 21XX FOX PL 05/06/20, 1700 HOURS Officers responded to a report of vandalism. Reporting party stated their vehicle was hit with rocks outside of their home during the night. Damage to the door and window was done and rocks were found at the scene.
