04 17 20 JTF 1 ASSAULT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 04/10/20, 0029 HOURS Officers responded to the 1300 block of Northland Dr. for an assault. The suspect had fled in a vehicle prior to officers arriving on scene. The victim was kicked and threatened with a blunt object. The victim declined medical attention. A KOPS alert was sent out on the vehicle. SPPD advised they got in a pursuit with the vehicle and identified the driver as the registered owner. Case sent to county attorney for formal charges. MAIL THEFT — 14XX DODD RD 04/10/20, 0632 HOURS Officer dispatched to 1300 block of Aspen Way for found mail. Officer arrived on scene and met with adult female reporting party. Reporting party said she found the mail on Riverside Lane. Mail was outgoing from an address on the 1400 block of Dodd Road in Mendota Heights. Officer returned mail to the sender. No suspect information. AOA/DISTURBING THE PEACE — 15XX QUARRY RD 04/12/20, 0155 HOURS Officers were requested to assist Eagan Police on a disturbance on the 1500 block of Quarry Rd. Reporting party explained a verbal argument with her husband which then turned physical. After investigation it was determined that there was not enough PC for arrest. Male half agreed to leave for the night. DUMPING/LITTERING — 7XX MOHICAN LN 04/12/20, 1047 HOURS On 4/12/20 officer received an illegal dumping complaint from the 700 block of Mohican Ln. Bags of trash and leaves were removed from a property and dumped at Friendly Hills Park. Suspect and vehicle descriptions obtained. Investigation continues. SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES — 1XXX IVY HILL DR 04/12/20, 1236 HOURS Officers responded to location to investigate a domestic and sexual assault allegation that possibly occurred at this address. Inver Grove Heights Police made contact with an intoxicated adult female victim in their city that said she was assaulted but were unable to get more information from the victim. Officers made contact with the alleged adult male perpetrator and got a statement from him. Adult female victim was transported to the hospital due to extreme intoxication. Unable to get statement from adult female victim at this time. Pending. DWI — 35E/SHEPARD RD 04/13/20, 0046 HOURS Officer heard State Patrol air a road and driving complaint. Officer got in the area and located the vehicle. Officer conducted a traffic stop and observed signs of impairment. SFSTs performed and officer suspected that a CNS stimulant caused the impairment after a DRE evaluation. Officer obtained search warrant and EMTs drew blood from the female for testing. Female was released to a sober party. Pending test results. 04.10.20—4.16.20 2 DAMAGE TO PROPERTY — 13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 04/14/20, 1732 HOURS Officers responded to the 1300 block of Sibley Memorial Hwy to investigate a report of damage to property. Officer spoke to the reporting party who showed his vehicle driver ’s side front window had a hole through it similar to the size of a BB gun. The window glass was spidered but still intact and no entry to the vehicle had been made. The damage occurred sometime in the last few days. No suspects. FRAUD — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 04/15/20, 2030 HOURS Officers responded to the 1300 block of Northland Dr. to investigate a fraud. A credit card was fraudulently used to pay for another guest’s room. The involved parties were interviewed and asked by hotel staff to leave the hotel. Under investigation. 04.10.20—4.16.20
