View it as a Web page. FRIDAY NEWS | February 28, 2020 THE LATEST Do you know where to vote this Tuesday? The Presidential Primary is taking place this Tuesday, March 3. Polling sites will be open 7:00am to 8:00pm. Locate your polling place on the map. If you are located in Precinct 1 or Precinct 3, please note that your polling location has changed. Voters who are not preregistered may register at their polling place on Election Day. Voters will need proof-of- residence to register. For more information visit www.MnVotes.org. City Hall will be open extended hours for absentee voting on: Friday, February 28 Until 4:30pm Saturday, February 29 10:00am-3:00pm Monday, March 2 Until 5:00pm Student representative needed for the Parks & Recreation Commission The Parks and Recreation Commission is accepting applications for a student representative to serve in an advisory capacity. A student representative must be a Mendota Heights resident attending one of the three high schools located in the city, and preferably be a sophomore or junior. The student representative will serve as a communication link for ideas, observations, concerns, satisfactions and questions to the commission. This one year term begins on June 1, 2020 and ends May 31, 2021. If you, or someone you know is interested in serving, feel free to contact Assistant City Administrator Cheryl Jacobson by calling 651-452-1850. Interested parties should submit a letter of interest and a current resume to Cheryl Jacobson no later than 4:00 pm on March 18, 2020. Don't miss the Fire Sale this Saturday, February 29 The City is hosting an indoor garage sale featuring surplus office furnishings, equipment, miscellaneous tools, and more from the Fire Station and other city departments this Saturday, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Mendota Heights Fire Station, 2121 Dodd Road.
