Information on Dirt Filling off of Highway 55 The City owns 15 acres of commercially-zoned land near the Highway 55 Frontage Road and Mendota Heights Road. The City has provided for the placement of 14,000 yards of clean fill on approximately two acres of low-lying City property. The fill dirt was available to benefit the City, at an approximate value of $140,000. There are no plans for development of this land at this time. Henry Sibley High School—Facilities Design Open House A community Facilities Design Open House is being hosted by District 197 on Thursday, September 20, from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Henry Sibley High School in Warrior Hall (third floor). Attendees will hear updates on the work that has been done since the Bond Referendum was approved in May, and can ask questions by visiting different booths at the event. The Comprehensive Plan provides a general future plan or guide for the community from 2020 to 2040. The 2040 Comprehensive Plan update is now underway. Re‐open the airway and give 2 more breaths, repeat chest compressions and rescue breathing uninterrupted unƟl professional help arrives , or the vicƟm begins spontaneously breathing. 2 TAMPER MV —7XX APACHE LN 08/31/18, 0119 HOURS Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Apache Lane on a report of mulƟple people going through their car. The homeowner was able to scare the individuals off before anything was stolen. Officers searched the area but unable to locate any of the suspects. THEFT — 9XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 08/31/18, 1058 HOURS Officers responded to the report of a theŌ from locker on the 900 block of Mendota Heights Rd. Officers called the reporƟng party and took a report involving theŌ of an iPhone X and cash from locker while at pracƟce. ReporƟng party will aƩempt to get serial numbers on the stolen items. Other reports of theŌ late reported as well. THEFT FROM MV —13XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 09/01/18, 0421 HOURS Officers were called to the 1300 block of Sibley Memorial Highway on the report of a vehicle that had a window smashed out of it by persons unknown. The vehicle owner found that a purse with nothing inside had been taken from off of her back seat. There is no suspect informaƟon at this Ɵme. FOUND DOG —19XX CROWN PT 08/31/18, 2052 HOURS While on rouƟne patrol I was ﬂagged down by a male on the 1900 block of Crown Point Dr. The male stated that he found a dog. I advised the male that I would take custody of the dog and aƩempt to locate the owner. I was unable to locate the owner and the dog was placed into Four Paws' custody. Report wriƩen. DWI ARREST—9XX SIBLEY MEMORIAL HWY 09/01/18, 0244 HOURS Officers stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver displayed acƟons consistent with someone under the inﬂuence of alcohol. Standard ﬁeld sobriety tests were performed and the driver was ulƟmately arrested for Gross Misdemeanor DWI and GM DWI Refusal. ASSAULT—7XX MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 09/02/18, 1420 HOURS Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Mendota Heights Rd to invesƟgate an assault in progress. One party re‐ ceived minor injuries as a result of the altercaƟon. Witnesses were unwilling to cooperate with the name of the other party involved in the altercaƟon. All parƟes dispersed from the locaƟon. DOMESTIC ASSAULT — 17XX LANSFORD LN 09/02/18, 1801 HOURS Dispatched to a domesƟc at the 1700 block of Lansford Ln. The reporƟng party stated that her son was becoming angry and pushed her; son not on scene upon Officer arrival. Gathered informaƟon. Son later returned home and officer spoke with son. Report wriƩen. AOA/RECKLESS DRIVING — HWY 13/SYLVANDALE 09/02/18, 1710 HOURS While direcƟng traffic, assisƟng State Patrol with a road hazard on Hwy 13 near Sylvandale Rd, I observed a silver pickup truck nearly hit a DOT vehicle, my squad and conƟnue driving toward me. I was able to move out of the vehi‐ cle's way. I noƟﬁed the State Trooper working the incident. The driver of the truck was stopped and arrested by a Minnesota State Trooper. SINGLE CAR ACCIDENT — 13XX NORTHLAND DR 09/02/18, 2244 HOURS Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle car accident that originated on the 1300 block of Northland Drive. Officer's arrived to ﬁnd a car that had rolled backwards across some grass and the street and ﬁnally hit a tree. The vehicle owner had called for a tow truck. Officers took photos of the scene for the case ﬁle. WARRANT ARREST — VICTORIA RD/LEXINGTON AVE 09/03/18, 0302 HOURS AŌer making an illegal U‐turn and temporarily blacking out, a vehicle pulled into a private ﬁeld. Officers performed a traffic stop and the driver was found to have a revoked license, a felony warrant and provided false info. The passen‐ ger and vehicle owner was charged with the possession of narcoƟcs. 3 ASSAULT — 23XX LEXINGTON AVE 09/03/18, 2000 HOURS Officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Lexington on a report of a guest who refused to leave the caller's resi‐ dence. Officers arrived and spoke to the both parƟes. AŌer invesƟgaƟon it was discovered the homeowner pushed the caretaker of her daughter aŌer an argument took place regarding the level of care given to her daughter. The homeowner was issued a citaƟon for assault. WEAPONS — 1XXX DELAWARE AVE 09/04/18, 1736 HOURS Officers responded to the 1300 block of Delaware for a report of a vandalism. The dispatch updated Officers that the suspects returned and the reporƟng party open ﬁred at the suspects. Officers arrived on scene and determined that there was no vandalism, and that there were no suspects. The reporƟng party was transported to the hospital on a hold. Forward to County AƩorney for formal charging. UNDERAGE POSSESSION — 18XX DELAWARE AVE 09/05/18, 1245 HOURS Responded to the 1800 block of Delaware Avenue on a report of a juvenile in possession of alcohol. One juvenile was issued a citaƟon for a Juvenile Alcohol Offense and released to their parent. FOUND BICYCLE— HUBER/MENDOTA HEIGHTS RD 09/05/18, 1250 HOURS Officers were dispatched to the intersecƟon of Huber Dr and Mendota Heights Rd on the report of an abandoned bike. Bike was recovered, the serial number was ran and a report was wriƩen. Bike was logged into evidence for safekeeping. BICYCLE VS CAR — PILOT KNOB/NORTHLAND DR 09/05/18, 1616 HOURS Officers responded to the intersecƟon of Pilot Knob Rd and Northland Dr on the report of a injury accident involving a biker and a car. Upon arrival officers assisted the injured biker and was transported by medics. A report was wriƩen. DOMESTIC/DETOX — 7XX SOUTH PLAZA DR 09/05/18, 1915 HOURS Dispatched to a verbal domesƟc at the 700 block of South Plaza Dr. The reporƟng party stated that her mother and mother's boyfriend were in a verbal domesƟc. Officers arrived and eventually detained the mother; mother transported to detox. Gathered informaƟon and report wriƩen. SUSPICIOUS PERSON — 1XXX HWY 62 09/06/18, 0830 HOURS Officers responded to the 1000 block highway 62 for a person having a mental health crisis. PaƟent was not making since and was very paranoid that people were out to get him.
