POSSESS PORN MATERIAL—18XX Delaware Ave MONDAY, 2/27/2017, 1300 HOURS
On 02/27/2017, while on duty at school, I took a report alleging that an adult female was in
possession of child pornography. Suspect was identified and taken into custody for questioning.
Suspect admitted to exchanging images via text message with a minor child known to her. The
victim and parents were also identified and are cooperating with the investigation. Suspect was
transported to the Dakota County Jail for booking; formal charges pending investigation.
BURGLARY — 1XXX Sibley Memorial Hwy TUESDAY, 2/28, 0419 HOURS
Officers responded to a forced entry burglary to a commercial building. Victim will be taking
inventory on any loss and video surveillance will be reviewed. Under investigation.
TRAFFIC STOP/WARRANT — Hwy 110/35E TUESDAY, 2/28, 1031 HOURS
Officers conducted a random license plate query and the registered owner came back to have a
misdemeanor warrant. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was in fact the registered owner.
The driver was arrested and transported to Dakota County Jail.
THEFT — 8XX Sibley Memorial TUESDAY, 2/28, 1702 HOURS
Victim discovered she left her credit card at a business the previous day. She checked her bank
statement and found five unauthorized transactions in other cities. Victim cancelled the credit
card. Case pending review of video surveillance.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA — 9XX Sibley Memorial WEDNESDAY, 3/1, 0209 HOURS
An unoccupied vehicle was seen in the parking lot of a closed business. A suspicion stop was
conducted and what was believed to be the smell of marijuana was made by the officer. After a
search of the vehicle, drug paraphernalia was located and seized. The driver was cited for
possession of drug paraphernalia.
ROBBERY — 9XX Chippewa Ave THURSDAY, 3/2, 2131 HOURS
Officers responded to a residential home on a robbery in progress. Suspect had fled by the time
officers arrived. Area was checked and no signs of the suspect. Photos and statements were taken.
Case under investigation.
