2005-07-08 Friday News The Friday News July 8, 2005 FIRE DEPARTMENT RETURNS THE FAVOR On Monday morning the fire department was called to assist Inver Grove Heights in battling a fire at the Moose Lodge on Concord Street in Inver Grove Heights. The department responded our aerial "Squrt" to assist at the scene with a full crew of firefighters. Eagan Fire responded equipment to staff both Inver Grove Stations during the event. Our firefighters were dispatched at about 06:00 hours and returned about noon. It was exactly a week earlier that Inver Grove fire responded to our request for help with an engine, an aerial, and a rescue truck to battle the fire on Lansford Lane. The working relationships that all of the Dakota County Fire departments have is second to none. As a result, all of our residents receive the best service possible for a very affordable price. A big thank you to the firefighters and their families who dedicate their time and talents to make this all possible. They have had a very busy week.
