Car break in Friday 0628 hours
Officer Peyton Fleming responded to a car break-in in an
underground garage. The caller reported a window smashed out
of her car and an inexpensive pair of sunglasses missing.
Illegal dumping Friday 1243 hours
Caller reported that silver Lexus driven by a teenage girl pulled
into the park pulled up next to the trash near the ice rink and
placed three plastic bags in trash. Officer Bobby Lambert
responded and spoke with the caller. She recognized the girl as
from the neighborhood. The trash revealed a small drinking party
was being covered up.
Harassment Friday 1524 hours
A couple called to report the woman who lives next door
continually harasses them. The homeowners reported to Officer
Bobby Lambert that the neighbor swears at them, gives them the
finger, throws used Kleenex on the driveway and gum and ice on
their car. Today the woman bumped into the caller with her car.
They were not interested in pressing charges only in stopping the
behavior. All parties were explained the next step in obtaining a
harassment order.

Welfare Check Saturday 1210 hours
Officer Bobby Lambert responded to a call of a roughed up, possibly drunk man lying
along the Big Rivers Trail. After Officer Lambert arrived the later was found to be true.
While on scene two friends of the intoxicated man came and offered to take him home.
Clear with drunken man removed from the trail.
Crisis Saturday 1800 hours
Caller asked for help getting out of his house. Officer Urmann arrived and determined it
was a group home and the caller didn’t like it there anymore. After a discussion about
why the house rules were important, the man calmed down and agreed to wait and get
his family involved. Clear no further calls.
Crisis Sunday 0140 hours
Caller reported his wife was not making sense and was afraid. Sgt Convery arrived and
learned this has been a developing/on-going issue. The woman was on the phone with
her son who is normally able to calm mom down. HealthEast paramedics arrived on
scene to assist, but the ambulance service was refused. The caller transported his wife
to the hospital for further evaluation.
Crisis Sunday 1638 hours
Officer Bobby Lambert responded to the report of a 29 YOA man who may have been
poisoned or overdosed. The man was reporting problems from smoking marijuana and
worried that it reacted with his anxiety medication. HealthEast paramedics checked the
man and released him to his parents.
Burglary Tuesday 1154 hours
Homeowner came home to find that her home had been broken into. A dark haired
female of Hispanic/Asian was standing nearby she immediately fled the area when the
homeowner arrived. There were two suspicious vehicles in the area. Officers
immediately located and stopped one, the other a dark colored SUV with out of state
plate, blue letters, was not located. Investigators processed the scene.
Noise Tuesday 1914 hours
Homeowner called to report a neighbor’s air conditioner was too loud. The caller stated
it was one of the homes on the other side of the pond. Officer Shepard was not able to
find the problem.
Road Closure Wednesday 0831 hours
Xcel Energy notified the City that they will be closing Lower Lilydale Road, Cty Rd 50,
near the Pool and Yacht Club. The road will be closed for 10 days to allow for a gas
transmission line repair.
AOA Wednesday 1721 hours
Officer Scott Patrick responded to assist the MSP with a motorcycle personal injury
crash on Dodd Road near I494.
AOA / Medical Wednesday 1944 hours
Sergeant Eric Petersen received a call to contact Lakeville Police about a confused man
they found wandering around a restaurant parking lot. The man was confused. His

wallet showed a Mendota Heights address. At the residence Petersen made contact
with his very concerned wife. The man had left for the credit union in Woodbury around
noon. The wife requested he be transported to the hospital and she would meet them
there.
AOA /Crisis Thursday 0010 hours
Officers Meyer, Urmann and VonFeldt assisted St Paul PD in searching for a man with
a gun who was threatening to kill himself. SPPD recovered the body a short time later.
Public Assist Thursday 1256 hours
Party called looking for help finding her way home. Her “friend” kicked her out of the car
as they were leaving the occupational health clinic. Apparently if you don’t take the
urine test for your friend you walk home. Officer Todd Rosse transported the woman to
the transportation hub at MOA where she could catch a bus home.
Where’s Mom? Thursday 1628 hours
Officer Rosse responded to a call of a missing adult and learned from the adult son that
mom hadn’t been seen or heard from since noon and her car was also MIA. After
checking in with the grandkids he learned she might have ventured to a casino. Officer
Rosse made some calls to area casinos, but in the meantime, the mother showed up,
safe and sound; unknown if her casino tour was successful.
Drug Possession/Felony Warrant Friday 2327 hours
While on patrol, Officer Urmann ran a plate that came up with a body-only Felony
Warrant out of Freeborn County; oops, make that 5 felony warrants. Upon stopping the
female, who was the registered owner of the vehicle, she was asked her destination; the
female responded with the name of a nearby motel. When asked to turn off the car, the
female complied, turning the ignition via a modified screwdriver in the ignition, as she
stated the ignition was broken. When asked if she was aware she had warrants out for
her arrest, the female pled ignorance. A search of the vehicle produced some powder
substance which looked like meth and drug paraphernalia. Her passenger, who denied
any use of drugs, thought the driver was trying to stay clean. The driver authorized
released of the vehicle and the cute Doberman puppy found in the back seat to the
passenger. The driver was ultimately arrested for felony drug possession and taken to
the Dakota County Jail to fulfill her other warrants. Case referred to Drug Task Force for
charging.
Trespass Friday 0230 hours
Officers Meyer, VonFeldt and Urmann responded to a burglar at the high school with
multiple trips. A perimeter was set-up; assistance including 2 K9s were called to search
the building. When the search began, two juveniles ran out of the building and were
captured moments later. Evidently, they were bored and simply wanted to explore.
Hopefully being greeted by a K9 and his officer friends has deterred them from future
“curiosity.” Both were cited for curfew, trespass and underage consumption before
being released to parents.
