2003-04-25 Friday News The Friday News April 25, 2003 Town Center Townhomes Ready for Approval Ross Feffercorn, the developer for Town Center, will be presenting the east and west townhome th neighborhood plans to Council for final PUD approval at the May 6 City Council meeting. Ross has submitted the site plans, landscape plans, and building plans for review. They are extremely attractive, well-thought out plans and he will have his colored renderings to show at the meeting. Spring Clean Up Spring Clean Up day will be here soon. It is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mendota Plaza. We still need volunteers to help, even an hour or two is helpful. Appliance Collection Day Old appliances can be picked up from your driveway on Monday, May 5, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Call JR's Appliance by Friday, May 2 for prices and to schedule your pick-up. Dial 454-9215 and ask for Operator 33. The Appliance Collection is also made possible by a grant from the OEA and Dakota County Environmental Management. Ramp Closure The ramp from southbound I-35E to Highway 13 will close on May 5th. The duration of the closure is expected to be three months. The posted detour will be south on 35E to Highway 110 east bound, then north on 35E to Highway 13. Quiet Week Except for a 6 hour Planning Commission meeting (with eleven planning cases) on Tuesday night, it’s been a quiet week at City Hall. Because April has five Tuesdays, there are no City meetings scheduled for next week to prepare agendas for.
