Councilman Gutzmer moved that Mrs. Lois King be

Councilman Losleben stated that he has received
several requests from Friendly Hills residents to
increase the depth of the pond to more than the
proposed three foot depth. He stated that this will
reduce the possibility of the pond drying up and
becoming overgrown with weeds and will create a
passive park area with wildlife habitat setting.
Village Engineer Kishel stated that if a change is
desired, it must be determined with the contractor
whether the change would be within the scope of
the contract and the contractor should be notified
of the change as soon as possible since work on
the pond has already begun. He suggested that if
the pond depth is made greater, the north shoreline
of the pond should be extended, pulling the pond
farther from the homes in Friendly Hills.
Councilman Losleben moved that the pond be dredged
to a five or six foot depth, within the confines
of the construction contract and at no additional
cost, and if feasible, the pond area should be
reduced in size, pulling the pond farther north and
away from the residential area.
Mayor Huber seconded the motion.
Councilman Gutzmer moved the adoption of Ordinance
