1979-04-21 Council minutesPage 1073 April 21, 1979 CITY OF MENDOTA HEIGHTS DAKOTA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA Minutes of the Special Meeting Held Saturday, April 21, 1979 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the adjourned special meeting of the City Council, City of Mendota Heights was held at 8:00 o'clock A.M. at the City Hall, 750 South Plaza Drive, Mendota Heights, Minnesota. Mayor Lockwood called the meeting to order at 8:00 o'clock A.M. The following members were present: Mayor Lockwood, Council Members Hartmann, Losleben, Mertensotto and Witt. APPROVAL OF Councilman Losleben moved approval of the minutes of the MINUTES March 6th meeting. Councilman Hartmann seconded the motion. Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 R.L. JOHNSON COMPANY Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 BUILDING PERMIT, COMSERV Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 PERSONNEL ADJOURN Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 The Council received a memo from Planner Dahlgren, advising that he had reviewed the R.L. Johnson Environmantal Assessment Worksheet and recommending that the Council determine that no E.I.S. is required. On the recommendation of the City Planner, Councilman Losleben moved that the Council make the finding that no EIS is mandatory for the proposed R.L. Johnson warehouse project. Councilwoman Witt seconded the motion. Public Works Supervisor Ploumen advised the Council that the problems with the proposed Comsery storm sewer system have been resolved. Councilman Losleben moved that the Comsery building permit be approved, based on the resolution of the storm sewer problems. Councilman Hartmann seconded the motion. Administrator Johnson advised the Council that Police Clerk Valerie Lengsfeld has resigned, effective April 19th. There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Mertensotto moved that the meeting be adjourned. Councilman Hartmann seconded the motion.
