The adjorned meeting ef.th_e Mendota, Village Council was

The roll being called, the following members were present: Mayor Edman, Trustees

The minutes of the previous meeting,held August 19, were accepted as presented.

A petition of residents of 'Friondl;t Halls having been reoeived mompiaining of a public
riuisanoe in their area and,on motion of Mayor Edman, 4econded by Trustee Horning,
it Was resolved that the Village Attorney serte notion u on theaow eris) of nuisance

.On motion of Trustee Horning,secoed by Trustee Sweney, it was resolved that a
building permit be granted to Mr. Itouis J. Sapletal for a 12'x8' storage shed set
baok 15' from the corner of his lot. Ayes:-4; NaystO4
On motion of Trustee Horning, seconded by Mayor Edman,, it was resolved that a request
by Dr. E.A. Smisek for a building permit to build a garage 30' West of his East
property line was approved, provided the Council is furnished a letter to the effect
that if he does not go ahlAd with his house, the garage shall be removed. Ayes:-4;

On motion of Trustee Horning, seconded by Trustee Krammer, it was resolved that the
