On motion of Trustee Sweney4 seconded by Trustee Krammer, resolved that the Village purchase a 2500 watt gas generator with three flood lights at a cost not to exceed ' 4380.00. Ayest -4; Nays: -0. • On mot ion of Trustee Swaney, seconded by Trustee Krammer, resolved that the Village purohase a reoessitator complete with four oxygen cylinders at a cost not to exceed $495,00. Ayes1-4; Nayst -0. Trustee Sweney summarized the items discussed with the Fire Department at the December 12 meeting. On motion of Trustee Krammer, seoonded by Trustee Sweney, resolved that the amend- ment to the Water Franchise Ordinance #7, amending an Oridinanoe granting a Franchise for the construction and operation of a water §Ysytem within a prescribed area, as is now before the Council, be adopted. Ayest -4; Nays: -0. The following bids were received for the conversion of the heating systems of the Village& Fire Hall and the Equipment Garage tq natural gas; John Frantes Sons $439.00 Hinding And Company $430.00 On motion of Trustee Krammer, seoonded by Trustee Sweney, resolved that the Hinding and Company bid of 4430.00 be accepted; Ayes: -4; Nays * -0e resolved that the mayor On motion of Trustee Sweney, seoonded by Trustee Horning, be authorized to appoint a citizens Committee to study the overall Village Fire and Police situation and make any neoessary recommendations to the Council. Ayes'- 5;Nays : -0 On motion of Trustee Sweney, seconded by Trustee Krammer, resolved that the general liability policy #566JB2613, sod non ownership automotive liability policy #266JA2502 coverage be procured. Ayes: -5; Nays: -0. Wachtler, & Frank Fischer 2 votes each Constable Two year term Justice of the Peace two year term Donald Lesher 301 votes Joseph Malzerek 349 votes Michael Kennedy 118 votes Herbert Warnke 6 Votes Mayor Edman administered the oath of office of Clerk to Frank Stary, who in turn administered the oath of office to Emil Krammer, Trustee; Jacob Weinzettel, Assessor; Donald Lesher, Constable; and Joseph Malzaekk, Justine of the Peace. Trustee Krammer was appointed to meet with tie Twin City Country Club in the matter of the location of the new proposed Lexington Avenue Bridge and Highway. \ On motion of Mayor Edman, seconded by Trustee Horning, resolved that the hearing Sat for the rezonigg of Lots 1 &2, Block 7, in the Friendly Hills Addition, be set for Jan-: 21,1956 at the Village Hall at 8:00 p.m.. On motion of Trustee Horning, seconded by Clerk Stary, resolved that the Planning Commission recommendation in regard to the John Taray property,LotS, Block 15, Somerset View Addition, be adopted in as much as the Village Clerk has in his possessor letters of approval from the adjoinig propeEty owners.
