The regular meeting of the Mendota Ileight s Village Council was held at the Villa
November 19,1956, at 8:00 p.m,.
The roll being called, the following members were present; Truatees Sweney, Krammer,
and Clerk Stary. Absent; Trustee Horning. Mayor Edman preaided over the meeting.
On motion of Trustee Kramer, seconded by Trustee Sweney, resolved that the reading

) A letter from Taray in regard to the lowering the street level in front of his lot,
a letter from Friendly Hills requesting that the Village accept the roads in unit No, 2,&
Aletter from home owners on Valley Curve Road requesting that the Village snow plow Valley
6urve Road, were referred to Road CommiSioner Emil Krammer.
A letter from John Taray requesting that the Village waive the 100 foot Minimum width
for his lot in Somerset View, A request from the Pilot Knob Ass'n to make Pilot Knob SchooL
available for community use, a request from home owners on Valley Curve Road for them
acceptance of a 40' easement as a permanent part of the Village Roads, and a petition
from 6tan Sayre in regard to an electrical Ordinance were referred to the Planning Commis5,0.,,
011 motion of Trustee Krammer, seconded by Trustee Sweney, resolved that the bid of Thc
Fuel Oil Service Co, of .258 less .03 per gallon Fed4 tax, net .228 per gallon, for the
installationof a 1000 gallon under ground tank, and furnishing and delivering gasoline
into same, be accepted. Ayes:-4; Nays:-0.
On motion of Mayor hdman, seconded by Trustee Sweney, resolved that the notice from
the State Livestock Board in regard to confining all dogs in the Village, south of HighwLt
100, for a period of six months, be published. A yes:-4; Nayst-0.
The Building Inspector was ordered to bring the Kopp Const, Go. ,and The Bacous Const,
Co. to justice court for the violation of the building oode.
On motion of Trustee Krammer, seconded by Trustee Sweney, resolved that the Villago
request the South & West St. Paul Transit Co. to extend their bus route from the corner
of 100&49,1ast to Lexington Avenue, South to Wagonwheel Trail, East to Highway 49, and
then North to the eorner of Highway 49 & 100. Ayes:-4; Hays : -0®
On motion of Trustee Krammer, seconded by Trustee Sweney, resolved that the Highway
Dep't be sent a letter requesting consent of the Highway Dep't to install & maintain
flasher type signs for the new Mendota School on Highway 100. Ayes:-4; 1'ays:-0,
The specifications for the bndividual water supply systems was referred to the Planni,vi
Commtssion.
On motion of Trustee 6weney, seconded by Trustee Kramer, resolved that the Mayor be
authorized to xnotify the Mendota Water Co. of their violation of their tailuro to compLy
with pragraphs 203, 204 &210 of the Water Franchise Ordinance, with authority to invoke
the provisions of article 5 of the ordinance. Ayes :-4; Nays:-0.
The report of the Planning Commission in regard to the petition to rezone Country
Co. & Friendly Hills was returned to the petitioner,
The Clerk was ordered to submit alist of judges and Clerks for the coming Villago
election to the mayor for approbal.
