RESOLUTION 05-75
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
FOR A CAT CLINIC IN THE B-1 ZONE
AT LEXINGTON AVENUE AND MENDOTA HEIGHTS ROAD
WHEREAS, Dr. Matthew Sturmer have applied for a Zoning Ordinance Amendment
and Conditional Use Permit for a Cat Clinic in the B-1 Zone at Lexington Avenue and Mendota
Heights Road [Lot 1 Block 1 Mendota Heights Office center Addition, PINT 27-48315-010-01] as
proposed in Planning Case #05-41; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application at their
regular meeting on August 23, 2005; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted to recommend that the Council approve
the Zoning Ordinance Amendment and Conditional Use Permit for a Cat Clinic in the B-1 Zone
as presented to the Planning Commission on the evening of August 23, 2005 and as shown in
Planning Case #05-41;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that a Conditional Use Permit for a Cat Clinic in the B-1 Zone for
Lexington Avenue and Mendota Heights Road as proposed in Planning Case #05-41 is hereby
approved on the following condition:
1) The operation shall be consistent with the requirements for Cat Clinics in the B-1 Zone.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Conditional Use Permit for a Cat Clinic in the
B-1 Zone for Lexington Avenue and Mendota Heights Road as proposed in Planning Case #05-
41 under the above conditions would not have an adverse impact on the health, safety, and
general welfare of the citizens of the community and the surrounding land, and would not be
adverse to the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance.
