RESOLUTION NO. 05- 76
RESOLUTION ADOPTING 2006 PROPOSED BUDGET
WHEREAS, State Statute requires City Council adoption of a proposed
Budget for 2006 on or before September 15, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the City
Administrator's Proposed 2006 Budget;
WHEREAS, Council recognized that the Budget document was prepared
on the basis of a Preliminary Levy;
WHEREAS, the final budget and levy will be considered at a Council
Meeting set for December 6, 2005.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mendota Heights that the City Administrator's Proposed 2006 Budget
appropriates expenditures in a manner consistent with service level needs and
Preliminary Levy funding; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Council hereby adopts the
Administrator's Proposed 2006 Budget subject to amendment following budget
and levy hearings and adoption of a final levy. The 2006 Proposed Budget
reflects $ 5,051,190 of revenues and expenditures for the general fund.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this 6th day of
September, 2005.
