RESOLUTION NO. 07 -05
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
ON COPPERFIELD STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT (PROJECT #200613)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 06 -109, the City Council, on November 21, 2006, ordered a
feasibility report to be prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of Huber Drive, Pond
View Drive, Pond View Terrace, Pond View Court, Watersedge Terrace, Field Stone Drive, Field Stone Court,
Copperfield Drive, Stone Road, High Point Road, High Point Court, Quail Ridge Circle, and Bent Tree Lane;
and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted a report to the City Council with respect to Huber Drive,
Pond View Drive, Pond View Terrace, Pond View Court, Watersedge Terrace, Field Stone Drive, Field Stone
Court, Copperfield Drive, Stone Road, High Point Road, High Point Court, Quail Ridge Circle, and Bent Tree
improvements which include milling, bituminous overlay, trail and appurtenant work; and
WHEREAS, in said report the City Engineer reported that the proposed improvements and
construction thereof are desirable and necessary, technically and economically feasible, cost effective, and
further reported on the estimated cost of the proposed improvements; and
{ j NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mendota
Heights, Minnesota as follows:
1. The City Council hereby accepts the Feasibility Report as submitted for an estimated total cost
of the improvements of $638,271.
2. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and
the assessment of property as described in the report for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429.
3. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 20th day of February,
2007 at City Hall, 1101 Victoria Curve, City of Mendota Heights, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m.
Statutory notice and publication requirements shall be followed.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this 16'' day of January, 2007.
