RESOLUTION NO. 07 - 07
RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR KIPP ADDITION
IMPROVMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of Mendota Heights has received a petition for public
improvements from property owners of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block 1 of Kipp Addition, and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct improvements for the Kipp Addition,
including sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, aggregate base, concrete curb and gutter,
bituminous surfacing, and appurtenant work, and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the
cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429,
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mendota Heights, Minnesota:
1. A certain petition requesting the public improvements to serve the Kipp Addition,
filed with the City Council on February 6, 2007, is hereby declared to be sighted by
the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is
made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes § 429.035.
2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and that she is instructed to report
to the Council with all convenience and speed advising the Council in a preliminary
way as to whether the proposed improvements are necessary, cost - effective and
feasible and as to whether they should best be made as proposed or in connection with
other improvements, and the estimated costs for the improvements as recommended.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Mendota Heights this 6`" day of February, 2007.
