RESOLUTION 07 -51
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WETLANDS PERMIT AT 720 MARIE AVE
WHEREAS, Bruce McManus has applied for a Wetlands Permit at720 Marie
Avenue [Lot 2 Block 1 of Spring Creek Estates PIN: 27- 71500- 020 -01] as proposed in
Planning Case #07 -15; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application
at their regular meeting on May 22, 2007; and
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission voted to recommend that the Council
approve the Wetlands Permit as presented to the Planning Commission on the evening of
May 22, 2007 and as shown in Planning Case #07 -15.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Mendota Heights that a Wetlands Permit at 720 Marie Ave as proposed in
Planning Case #07 -15 is hereby approved with the following condition:
1. all issues relating to grading and drainage of the site shall be subject to the review
of the City Engineer
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in support of the above approval, the
Council hereby makes the following Findings of Fact:
The application is consistent with the intent of the Wetlands Ordinance, which is
to ensure that alterations do not degrade or threaten the water quality of the
wetland area.
